Day 273: I'm Bringing Sexy Back!

Or not. LOL First, let me just say this. I was very apprehensive to post this photo....even if I posterized it. I'm a very private person, so this was hard, and well....just makes me feel awkward, even thought this picture is in good taste. I have been wanting to do a boudoir shoot for a while as I have never done one before. So, today I decided to give it a try.....on myself. Wasn't an easy task. I'm sure things would go much better if I had someone to focus on as that was a task. And oh, the lighting!! It was bad!! I had no focal point to focus on, so the focus is out, and a lot were blurry. But, not to shabby for a self boudoir shoot if I do say so myself. My husband REALLY liked the photos. Hahaha!! I would love to do a boudoir shoot for someone! I know that this type of photo shoot isn't that popular. Not to many people want to just drop their drawers. LOL But ladies you can have tasteful, sexy photos with out showing much. Of course, you can get sexy photos with out showing a thing, but that is not what a boudoir shoot is about. It's about having fun, feeling sexy, and confident. All you prudes just shush!!! I'm such a prude and don't find this distasteful in anyway. I have standards & class, and shit. ;) So just be F@%king nice.

As the song goes:I’m bringing sexy back  Them other f@%kers don’t know how to act
Come let me make up for the things you lack Cause you're burning up I gotta get it fast

Day 271: Red Leaf

Kwintyn found me a red leaf today. It isn't the best photo but it works for my pic of the day.

Day 270: Floating

Found this daisy floating in some water in my flower garden. Took a picture before I left for the garage sale today. We are having another garage sale next weekend as well. We still have A LOT of stuff!

Day 269: Exhausting!

That garage sale tired me out today. My back hurts, too. We weren't really busy today, but there's always tomorrow. I have so much stuff that we ran out of room to put it out!

Day 268: Garage Sale!!

My friend is having a garage sale and she is kindly letting me add some stuff to her sale. Okay. So it's a lot of stuff. Primarily clothes, and lots of it!! She also has some nice things out for sale as well. Clothing sizes range from girls 4T-7, boys 12mos-16. Coats. Tons of kids clothes!! A little bit of woman's clothes, toys, household items, bedding sets; Queen, and Crib. Was busy setting up today so I didn't get a pic of the day so I made a garage sale sign instead. lol

Day 267: Nature Never Did Betray The Heart That Loved Her.

Just more nature's beauty that I found around the yard today. Nature never disappoints me. Okay, so only when it's like early Spring, and then it snows.... then it disappoints me. LOL Or snow on Halloween.....HUGE disappointment in Nature. But I can always find something beauty ful, or interesting. The green leaf looks like a caterpillar cutout?...inch worm? Weird shaped heart?

Day 266: First Day Of Fall

Happy Autumn, was a beautiful day today! I had a lovely day as I had a photo shoot today. What a great way to bring in Fall!! Went shooting around town, and then ended up at the garden. I haven't been there in a few years, and boy have they added some stuff on! I forgot how lovely that garden is. Will be back again.

Day 265: Super Hero!!

I got to have a photo shoot with a Super Hero today. :D Kwintyn got inventive and used a bib as a cape. Can't find the Batman cape, and he wasn't digging the dish towels. Hahaha! He's got a super fashion style, too! LOL! These are the boots we bought when he hurt his foot, and he had wore them every single day since. I did get him to wear a different pair today to school. I told him boots & shorts look silly. He wouldn't have cared! LOL

P.S. 100 more day of my project left!!! :O Unless I miscounted...again! lol

Super Hero to the RESCUE!!!

Day 264: Nature Finds

These were in my flower gardens. I have some fungus growing on the side of a planter, and I thought it looked cool. I gotta scrape it off before it ruins my planter, but before then I'll have to get my camera out. These have been taken with my iPod. Annnd....my mind went to the gutter taking a few of these picture....can you tell which one it was?! hehehehe!!! Frank didn't see what I was seeing. hahaha!! Yep, I'm easily amused. Whatever, I'm FABULOUS!!

Nature finds of the day.

Day 263: Love Grows Here

Was just kind of day today. We did run to the store for some things, but I really didn't do much today. I wasn't feeling to good today. Frank was nice & made dinner, and he worked at a bit today. Kam went to a friends & played kick ball, Chelsea got back from staying at her friends, and Kyle worked today & took a surprise trip to Grayling to visit his manager who just transferred there. Keagan had a lazy day like me. lol So I got a little bored today, and played on an app. I wasn't sure which image I liked better? Color? No color? Name? No name?

Day 262: Student Driver

Keagan drove to work today.....Oy!! I already had an anxiety attack before we even left the drive way. He put it in drive instead of reverse. Buuuut...I have done that once....or twice. lol Don't say you never done that before...cause I'm sure ya have. haha! He did a good job as we are still alive. LOL! I'll have to say that even though their driving stresses me out a little, I think it's due more to the other drivers. They have no clue who is behind that wheel, and that my kid's are learning to drive and that yes, we are going slow because of that. People are always in such a rush nowadays and get angered. Tailgating, honking, I'm afraid of all those ignorant drivers. So far we haven't encountered any, but the kids did say they encountered a few while in the drivers training  car, that clearly stated,"Student Driver." I'm no Saint, I have been known to have some road rage but never have I been an ass about it either. Usually my road rage is screaming a few profanities. Haha! They still have to do some night driving...boy, that shall be fun!

Keagan driving!! Ahhh!

Day 261: Rain

Just another artsy kind of day. TGIF! "Some people create their own storms then get upset when it rains."

Here's another I created with a rain quote.

Day 260: I've Got The World On A String Sitting On A Rainbow

This digital art is inspired by Frank Sinatra's song. :)

I've got the world on a string
I'm sitting on a rainbow
Got the string around my finger
What a world, what a life - I'm in love
I've got a song that I sing
I can make the rain go
Any time I move my finger
Lucky me, can't you see - I'm in love
Life is a beautiful thing
As long as I hold the string
I'd be a silly so-and-so
If I should ever
let it go
I've got the world on a string
I'm sitting on a rainbow
Got the string around my finger
What a world, what a life - I'm in love
Life is a beautiful thing
As long as I hold the string
I'd be a silly so-and-so
If I should ever let it go.

Day 259: First Day Of Pre-School

Today was Kwintyn's first day of pre-school. He was suppose to ride the bus, but we didn't even make it to the bus stop. So I took him in to school, which I kinda wanted to do anyways but didn't want to mess up his new routine. He said, that he had a great day, and had fun, and he wanted to go back so that was a great sign! And he talked!!! I kinda knew he would but, oh, the anxieties I had!! He's a shy little guy! He also told me that he wanted to ride the bus tomorrow. I had no clue what to do with absolutely no kids here! Frank got out of work early, so that surprised me, and we enjoyed the house being kid free. Then we got bored. And I wanted doughnuts. LOL So we went in to town and went to the Salvation Army, Cops & Doughnuts, Dollar General. and the Habitat Re-store. Kwintyn was surprised to see Frank at pick up. He wanted Daddy to pick him up from school, and I told him that Dad would be working, so this made his day! Was a great day until 7:00ish? And then the day went blah. Kwintyn & Chelsea were jumping on the trampoline, and Kwin jumped off, and landed on a nail. We wondered where the nail came from since it was by the trampoline. Well it came from the pool pump that was under the trampoline that stuck out just enough. UGH!!! It wasn't a nail that was laying around, the pool pump was nailed to a board, and the nail head was sticking out just enough to cause a nasty, nasty laceration. (I'll just say...it kinda pissed me off. I tell everyone to clean up their shit ALL the time.) We ended up taking him up to the ER. I knew he didn't need stitches, but it just needed to be cleaned really good, and maybe they could glue it a bit. That is exactly what they did, they soaked his foot, and glued it, and bandaged it all up. (I'll just say that I did a better job with the bandage, haha! I, do have knowledge in medical things..just can't do it. LOL) They also gave him so antibiotics to prevent an infection...I'll admit I didn't think of that one. ;) lol Good call, Doc! We then went to Walmart to find him some more comfortable shoes, and ones that weren't so tight. It was a pain in the ass to find him a pair!! I finally found a pair, I thought they were slippers, but they weren't, they were boots! Think of Uggs with a cowboy boot twist, and then add Camo. He likes them, and says they are soft, and comfy. They work especially with the bandage on his foot. This boy had one eventful day, and he did such an amazing job!!

1st day of Pre-School!

Day 258: I'll Miss You A Latte!

I'm sad that tomorrow is going to be my coffee girls last day! This girl is the only one who can get our drinks right....especially mine! I swear if she's not working, my coffee gets messed up! She also has personalized our coffee's every time! We get our names, or his, & hers. Was funny, one day we got chatting and come to find out her daughter, and Chelsea were friends! So, I gained a new friendship through Tim Horton's. We are going to miss you're sweet face, Lexi! Thanks for always getting our coffee just right every time! You always made it joyful to get coffee. Any other day, I was just a regular Jane Smo. Even you're Boss...whom has served me numerous times, doesn't get my coffee right. And she doesn't even personalize them, either! LOL Boy, are they gonna be missing a gem!

My favorite coffee lady!

Day 257: Hello, Thirty Five.

Today marks the 35th anniversary of me, being expelled from my Mother's uterus. I actually still had one week left!! See, I didn't always procrastinate! I was born at 12:36 PM, and I weighed 6pds 6oz. Was a tiny little thing! I think my Dad had picked the name Jennifer, my Mom had the name Laura Lee picked out. I ended up being, Jennifer Jo. Jo, just like my Mom's middle name. You know how much I hated having a "boy's" middle name?! LOL I wasn't to fond of the Laura Lee, so I guess I was happy with my name....until I got to school, and EVERYBODY was a Jennifer. Did you know that my BFF's name is Jennifer, and I have a Step-Sister named, Jennifer, too?! Guess Maybe they should have went with Laura?! I guess I got quite the exciting birth story, too! I mean...what's not exciting about me?! :D My Dad showed up in full army gear, with face paint, and all! My Dad was in the Marines, and was at Fort Custard in training when he got the call my Mom was in labor. Guess all the nurses found that pretty funny. I have a birthmark on my thigh, and when my Busia was changing my diaper for the first time she kept wiping that spot. She thought it was poop! Hahaha! Guess I have always been a little shit, too! I was the middle child, and yes, what they say about us is true. We get forgotten. I am still waiting for my airplane ride. When I am determined to do something, I will do it. I was 3-4 years old, and I wanted to go to Arizona to visit my Aunt, & cousin. Was the night before Easter, and I got on my bike and was dead determined to ride my bike to Arizona. I guess, I was headed in the right direction! I was one who played with baby dolls way to long, but I just loved the idea of being a Mommy. I always wanted to be a Mom...and have a cat farm, and have a day care. LOL I think I came pretty darn close to living my dream. Was 3, cats away from crazy at one point. For my 16th birthday I got a Corvette, that my Dad bought for me! He knew how much I wanted a Corvette that he went out & bought me one. He was more than generous and got me two cars! Sadly, they were Matchbox cars. I told Keagan that story, and he believes it. I told him that he, and his brother trashed my car! Which they did! I ended up getting a bike for my 16th birthday. What's so sweet about that?! Was better than walking, though! I moved from Bronson, Mi. to Gaylord Mi. when I was just 17 years old, and oh how that was a rough, rough day. I thought my world had ended. And then I met Frank. I think you know how things went from there. ;) So there a little bit of info about me. I have to say...35 isn't that bad....so far!

About my day: Kwintyn, and I went up to Cops & Doughnuts to get my birthday treat!! I was standing there for like 5 minutes trying to decide what I wanted, and Kwin had already picked out what he wanted! I got the most awesome birthday wishes from friends & family on Facebook, makes a girl feel good! Thank-you, friends! After school I took Keagan & Kyle up to the Secretary Of State with me to get their permits, and my plates renewed. Took Keagan to work, went home and picked up the family, and off we went back in to town. You see, it was another amazing lady's birthday today. Grandma Moore's birthday is also today!! Most awesome people are born on September, 14th! :D We went up to visit her & Grandpa. Got to see some of the family up there who were visiting, too. We then picked up Dinner, got some gas, and then we let Kyle DRIVE home!! Holy Shit!!! I was very anxious a few times when he was driving. Was his first time driving in town with us...and our car! I kinda feel like I should have some sort of sign on my car alerting others...student driver aboard! Kinda like the baby on board signs....Never did understand those. So, I lived through that driving experience. Might not be so lucky next time.....next time it's Keagan driving. I guess he pulled out in front of a semi, Kyle said. That's very reassuring, son! I hope, I am blessed with another 35, great years! Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes on my birthday! You're all the best. Much love to you all.

Birthday Adventures!

Day 256: Photos, Photos, Photos!!

Oy!! Been busy editing senior pics, and I still had to do my photo project, and blog, and finish my Shutterfly book I am working on. So I kinda am done looking at photos today. Hahaha! My book is going to be a nature photography book. :)

Nature book I am working on.

Day 255: Wood You Be Mine?!

Wood you believe that I found this heart shaped log, when I was doing my nephew's senior photos?! Got two birds with that one stone! Pic of the day, and senior pictures....check!

Day 254: 14 Years Later

We still will never forget. We will never forget where we were, what we were doing, who we were with, when we heard the sad news on that fateful September, 11th day, of 2001. We will not forget what fear we felt that day, or the fear we saw that day. 14 years ago, I was days shy of being 21 years old. A young Mom, and I feared that we were at War that day. The anxiety of "Are we going to get bombed?" "Is this the new war?" I was frightened, and all you could do was watch with fear of not knowing what was going to happen next. Surely the world changed at that very moment, the world would never feel safe again. To many lives lost. We will never forget those lost on that fateful day. We will always remember.

14 year anniversary of 9/11

Day 253: Doughnuts? Donuts?

Either way you spell it, it still tastes good. I have been waiting for this certain doughnut shop to open up here in town. They had me at doughnuts, and they taste DELICIOUS!! Do you know how hard it is to find a blueberry doughnut around here?! A decent one?! Tim Horton's doesn't sell them here, but sell them else where. Grocery stores I can never find them, and if I do, they taste horrible, and are dry.  So when I found out that a Cop's & Doughnuts was coming to town, that made fresh, homemade blueberry donuts.....I knew I'd be a frequent customer. They opened yesterday, and I didn't get a chance to get up there but I put it on my to do list for today. I, personally didn't get up there yet, Frank made a stop when taking the boys to work and bought me some doughnuts. They close at 5:30, so as bad I wanted to go & do the picking myself, I told Frank to go. I'm going up tomorrow. LOL And then again on Monday, cause I get to pick anything I want from their display. Cause it's my birthday.....cause I'm special. Hahaha! ( See Day 137 for further explaining. lol) Don't worry, Tim Horton's I will still be a regular cause you have my latte's, and apple cider! It's just this place has better doughnuts. Sorry! Although I'd still eat you're doughnuts, cause I mean....doughnuts!!

Mmmmm.....DONUTS!!!

Day 252: Let's Play With Play-Doh!

I made another new little buddy, and he likes to play with Play-Doh, too. I'm helping a friend out, her grandson is visiting with her, and she needed a sitter for a few days, for a few hours so she asked me. He's a cute little guy, smart little cookie, too. Kwintyn missed him yesterday as he was sleeping the whole time he was here, but today he was up, and he played really nice. Was happy to them get a long pretty well. Played with cars, firetrucks, and lots of play-doh. :)

Day 251: The First Day Of School

Today was the first day of school for the 2015-2016 year. Keagan & Kyle are in 10th grade, Kameron is in 8th grade, Chelsea is in 4th grade, and Kwintyn will be starting Pre-school next week! By the time Keagan & Kyle graduate, Kwintyn will be going in to 1st grade. We will then be the "old" parents. We were always the "young" parents. Haha! Oh, how times have changed. I've had a few people just recently tell me that Chelsea looks just like me, and I have never saw it, until I looked at the pictures of today. I really saw myself in her, in the photos that I took while we were outside waiting for the bus. But looking at her in person, I still can't see it! If she is a spitting image of me, I fear for the world. Hahahahaha!!! I'm hoping Kameron will be the one who will get in to sports. He loves to run, but I want him on a team of some sort! Hint, hint...Kam! We still need to get Kwintyn's sleep schedule figured out. Excuse my language....but, his sleep cycle is fucked. I'm beginning to think he has some sort of sleep disorder, like Delayed sleep-phase syndrome. This is a disorder of sleep (circadian) rhythm that results in an inability to fall asleep at a normal hour (e.g., sleep onset may be delayed until 2–4 a.m.) and results in difficulty waking up in the morning. Symptoms among children include excessive daytime sleepiness, sleeping until early afternoon on weekends, truancy and tardiness, and poor school performance. Treatment might include light therapy (exposure to very bright light in the morning), chronotherapy (gradually advancing the child’s sleep schedule 1 hour per night until a normal routine is achieved), maintaining a consistent sleep schedule, or a short course of sedative medication to help achieve a new schedule. It may be necessary and beneficial to (temporarily) adjust the child’s school day to allow for a later start.

Kids seemed to have a good day at school, and Chelsea said that she talked to her teacher!!!! They were so tired when they got home, Keagan & Chelsea took a nap. Kyle went to work after school, he's gonna be tired!!! Oh, and I got to try some of that Coney Island Root Beer today. I was kinda disappointed. All that hype over that?! LOL I liked it, but then I didn't. Hahaha Maybe it was the after taste? I thank, Tami for thinking me & bought me some! So, so sweet of her!

1st day of school 2015-2016

Day 250: End Of Summer

Today I took Keagan & Kyle school shopping. Kyle wasn't home much this summer, was always working. So, since school starts tomorrow, he needed to get some things. Crazy to think how big they have gotten, and how they act like crazy, little adults. They have jobs, their own money. More than I can say for myself right now! 😂 Will be driving soon. Much different than those Kindergarten days. Kameron & Chelsea are getting so big, too! She'd kill me for saying anything but, I just had to go buy a specific type of under garment for her. I stood in that section like a man would. Dumbfounded look on my face, and thinking, Which one do I get?! Oy!! Kyle bought a few things non school related. He found a candle that I thought was pretty unique, it was the scent, Warm Tobacco Pipe & it smells really good. He also bought a Jelly Belly, Bean Boozled game. He made us play, and I don't recommend playing. I got skunk spray flavor. I bit my teeth in it, and said, No freaking way!! The best was watching Kwintyn play. He got smelly socks & pile flavor. 😝 I'm a little bummed to see the kids go back this year, but I am SO ready to be back to a routine! We start our supplements again, tomorrow. Summer came & our routine left. Cheers, to a new school year!

Day 249: Grocery Getter

My expedition has been turned in to Frank's work truck, and the grocery getter. It just has a lot more room! We were a little cramped today just because of all of his tools in the back. Keagan doesn't usually go shopping with us either so we had to make room for him. We need to get an extra booster for Chelsea, so we don't forget to put her seat in the car. She isn't liking that she has to use a booster as a lot of her friends don't use one. But she is a peanut! Got stocked up on snacks for school, and got a meal plan, and groceries for 12-13 meals. I hate grocery shopping. Maybe if the kids didn't tag a long it would be better? LOL We also looked high & low for the Coney Island Root Beer. Guess what?!?! We didn't find it!! Hahaha...even asked....3 times!! Guess it's on to Family Fare, but I don't think my odds are looking so well. Just want to try one of these root beers before summer is over! LOL Oh, and after spending a couple hundred in groceries what do we do?!! We pick up dinner at Culver's! Hahaha!!

Sunday not fun day

Day 248: Photography Love

Made this on an app on my iPod. Made a few other images but went with this one for my photo of the day.

Love photography

Day 247: Haircuts

Frank, and some of the boys got their hair cut. Kyle went & got his cut earlier, so he didn't get his cut, but all the other guys did. Got a not so good pic of Kwin. I didn't do before/after photos, I should have.

Day 245: Welcome!

Today was school orientation for Keagan, Kyle, & Chelsea. The boys went with their friends, I didn't think I need to go with them? If I did, oops! Kwintyn & Chelsea had a Dentist appt today, they both did great! They had a few cavities. 😖 Keagan, & Kyle also had drivers training class, they finish up this week with Segment 1. Phew!! Then had to take Keagan back to work. It was a day of chauffeuring. Chelsea's orientation went well, and I hope she has a good year. I hope she talks this year, she says she will. I'm so happy that she got the teacher I had requested. She had this teacher in 2nd grade, and she spoke to her, then! So I'm hoping this will be a great year for Chelsea. Kwintyn meets his teacher next week!

Day 244: I'm Pure At Heart. It Repels The Dirt.

Found this ant hill in the driveway today, and I thought it looked a heart mound. I also knicked my knees up a bit trying to get this picture. I wish I would have just gone inside and got my camera instead of using my iPod. I'm sure it could have helped? Okay, nah, I still would have ended up on the ground in the dirt. Hahaha I stood up, and stones were embedded in to my knees. Oh, what I do to get a picture! Frank did point out that my knee did have a heart imprint in it. LOL

I'm pure at heart. It repels the dirt.
