Day 181: Always Believe That Something Wonderful Is About To Happen

Chelsea believed that if she held still long enough that a chipmunk would come and eat from her hand. With her patience & determination it happened!! To her wonderment, she was able to pet it. There were 3, chipmunks that kept coming up for food, and a couple squirrels. We had one grey squirrel circle the yard a few times. He wasn't coming up till we were gone. Chelsea also blew some bubbles today, mainly because I wanted to play around on my camera. :D

Day 179: Time Flies When You're Having Rum

Oy!! It sure did! And I sure am feeling the effects of the celebration last night. I threw up multiple times last night, and again today. I am grateful that I didn't have that dreaded hangover headache though. And I can't remember some things. It happened when I got home, I don't remember puking in the bathroom for almost an hour when I got home, or how I got my dress off, or even going back in to the hall before we left to use the bathroom! Frank was telling me all this & it's a total mind blow. LOL Me no drinkey rum again. You're on your own, Captain....my sailing days are over. I just hope I didn't make to big of an ass out of myself. I really was trying to be on my best behavior, Frank says I was a good girl. :)

Day 178: Mr. & Mrs.

Today my friends Tammie, and Jason got married today!!! The Bride looked stunningly beautiful, and her dress was absolutely gorgeous. The Groom looked pretty spectacular in his suit, and was very handsome. The ceremony was beautiful, and was officiated by a dear friend of the Bride & Groom, which made the ceremony even more special & heartfelt. I could tell he was so honored to be given that duty. The wedding party looked pretty smokin' hot...if I do say so myself. ;) Everyone looked amazing! The photographer was fantastic, and I now have a new photo friend! The reception went well, and it was decorated so beautiful. The cake looked amazing! And the newlyweds pulled a fast one with the cake cutting. The Best Man, and Maid Of Honor got the cake in the face! It was so nice to see everything put together, and everyone in their dresses & suits. Was a very lovely wedding, and I am so very honored that I got to be a part of their wedding day. Congratulations, Jason & Tammie!!!

Day 177: Thanks For Letting Me Be A Piece To You're Puzzle

The puzzle is almost complete, tomorrow is wedding day for my good friends, Tammie & Jason. I thank them for letting me be a piece to their special day. I feel so very honored to stand up in you're wedding. I know you two make one heck of a couple! I just have some advice to give to you. I know I already said this, but, don't letting anything ruin you're day, not a damn thing!! Keep those smiles, and the stress away, this is you're day! Communication, is so very important in a marriage. So talk when something is bothering you, because face it....neither one can mind read. So always keep talking. Time, you need time for you & you're spouse. Time just for the two of you, time away from kids, and work life. Staying connected is a blessing in a marriage. Don't forget to laugh, and love a lot along the way, and enjoy what the lifetime of the future has in store for the both of you. I give you both, all my blessings, and love.....To Tammie, & Jason! Frank got bored, and decided to stain the steps. Looks a lot better! Now to get more stain for the front porch...and a million other things for our summer projects. Why does everything have to cost so much?! Oh, the ideas we have, but limited funds. lol

Day 174: Make-Up Test

Just 4 days, until Wedding day!! My good friend, Tammie is getting married, and I am so freaking excited!!! I'm also a Bridesmaid in her wedding, so today I did a make-up check. I bought an air brush system for my wedding day, and well.....I never really used it much after that. LOL So I pulled it out today, and cleaned it out. Kept getting clogged, but I did get my face done, finally. I looked a bit too, orange. I used a few shades up from the shade I should have went with...I was saving the right foundation color for wedding day, I just wanted to know if my Luminess Air System still worked. It started working real good as I applied the blush, and that left me looking like a clown. LOL Kameron saw me and said, OMG, that's a lot of make-up! Hahaha! Well you see my system works then. :D I did have to use some powder, and tone my face down a bit. It did a great job with the coverage, but unfortunately my acne still shows through. :(  I also tried a few photo lighting tests to see how my face would do with different lighting, hence the many different selfies. I cringe even posting these, but I didn't get anything else for a pic of the day, so it's my ugly face. Hahaha! My face is breaking out this week, of all the days it just had to break out. Eh, it's my luck anyways. Stupid hormones. Guess I'll be the zitty bridesmaid......again! Double Whammy! %$@#&*%^&!!!!!! But.....it's not my day, so hopefully ALL eyes will be on Tammie. :) She's gonna look so amazing!!! I just can't wait to see her in her dress, all glammed up. EEK!!!!!!!

I guess we were suppose to be getting some nasty storms, so far it's only rained. Said possible tornados even. Spent the day cleaning, and then spent the rest of the day hurting. Blah! So here's something I made instead.

Day 172: Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful Dad's out there! I have 2 important men in my life, my Dad, and Step-Dad. I now realize how blessed I was to have 2, loving men that only wanted the best for me. They are the best Dzia-Dzia, & Grandpa that any kid could ask for! I'm so incredibly blessed to have married a man that is an amazing Father. He has always been here for our kids, and works so hard to spoil them. The kids just adore their Dad, and often join in his shenanigans with him, and I often have to say, STOP! Haha! I'm so lucky that my kids have one awesome Dad!! Day 171: Crazy Lil Thing Called Love

Love, it's a strange thing, and will make you do some crazy things. Sometimes insane things! Or things you just don't like to do. But it makes the one you love happy, so you do it. The one I love has done so many things for me! Even things I know he HATES to do. Like buy those feminine products....I made him buy the pregnancy test when I found out about Keagan & Kyle. Or the times he had gone out late to grab me a bite to eat cause, I had a craving, while he was tired. Or the many times when he painted my toenails. Or wore a sweater that I wanted him to wear for pictures, actually I usually pick out outfits for photos. LOL I'm so thankful that I have someone so wonderful, so thoughtful, and someone who puts up with me!! He's a wonderful Father, and dotes on his children. He works so hard to provide for his family, and I know he stresses about that a lot. A family of 7, not an easy task. I just hope he knows how proud I am of him, and how much I love him, and appreciate him. There is no other person I'd rather have, my whole heart has always belonged to you, Frank. I love you! Thank-you for everything you do for us! And thanks for painting my toenails so they would match my outfit today. :)

Day 170: Ahh, Simplicity

Woot!! So excited!! I'm sitting outside, next to the fire, and am writing my blog!! You know how nice this is?! I just downloaded the app so it makes things a lot easier. Not sure how easy this will be for my Facebook post? I usually just copy from here, so I hope I can do an easy share & it gets to the right album. I did some cleaning & laundry, and then spent some time in the sun again. Later in the evening we had a few friends stop over & we started a fire. Kids have been begging for s'mores so we were gonna make those, too. Guess who ended up eating a lot of s'mores? Not the kids, was Frank & I. Hahaha They were SO good, especially the ones with the coconut marshmallows. So nice to sit here...outside, and write. Why didn't I do this sooner?!

Day 169: Key To My HEART

Enjoyed the sunshine a little bit this morning, and as I was laying there the clouds came in. So I cloud watched for a bit, and what did I see?! Of course a heart!! As I watched the heart it turned in to a heart key. I went in shortly after that since the clouds came in, and the sunshine was sparse. At least I got to enjoy it for a bit today, it ended up raining later in the day.

Day 168: Sunshine On My Shoulders

Made me happy today! After throwing my neck & shoulder out today, I was one sore lady. I got some more sun today since I couldn't really do much else. Maggie pulled a muscle or something today, too. Took an evening walk as I was feeling better after I took some pain meds, and that was so nice. We haven't been on a nature walk in while, so this was good therapy. George came along for the walk, and along the way Frank found a mattress, and Kwintyn found me a daisy, & picked it just for me!  My neck isn't as sore as it was earlier, so I hope tomorrow I will be feeling a little less sore. Looks like I need to go back to the chiropractor again, soon.

Day 167: At The Stroke Of Midnight

It was midnight, and just as we were getting ready to go to bed, Keagan comes upstairs and said. "Do I need stitches?!" Why?!?! What did you do?!?! "I was messing around with Kyle, and jumped on his bed, and punched him, and he pushed me off, and I fell off, and landed on my crate." Let me see....yep, you're gonna need stitches. Why the hell were you messing around? It's midnight & we were just going to bed....grumble..grumble...grumble. Off to the E.R. we go. Dr. said it was a close call, could glue it, or could stitch it, ended up glueing it. Finally get home at 1:45am and Kwintyn is STILL up!! Didn't get to bed until a little after 3am, and had to get up early to get Chelsea to summer school. Spent the day sitting in the sun doing not a damn thing!

Day 165: Polyvore

So I've been on Polyvore for 3, years now.....and I've just recently got addicted to it. I now have the app so I can play & browse more on it, and I have been addicted since. The app is easier in my opinion, too.  I have always liked to design things ever since I was a kid, and I always liked to draw floor plans of what my house was going to look like....it was much more elaborate & it doesn't compare to what I own today. LOL But oh, it was so fun to dream!! And that is what Polyvore does for me, it makes me dream again. You can actually design your own outfit, room, ect. I have so much fun with this, and I guess the past few nights show that at 9:30ish, I am on Polyvore. Haha! It's getting to be so addicting! If you like to put together outfits, rooms, or just like to design...then this is right up your alley! If you join let me know! I'd love to follow somebody on there. Hahaha! I have no followers or am I following. I just am off in my own designer world when I am on there. :)

Day 162: Guess Who's Back? Back Again?

Back to the Vet we go today, but this time it's for Brownie. I noticed she started sneezing on Tuesday. I watched her, and just thought it was from giving her some Fancy feast broth that I mixed up for Rubie. So I thought maybe she had breathed some of that in when she ate it? I notice yesterday that she stayed in our room all day, but I did see her out & go potty. When we went to bed it was late, and we always feed her before bed, as she eats a lot during the day. She didn't eat yesterday or that night, and she was acting so off. I wasn't sure what was wrong with her. We had initially thought it was a upper respiratory infection due to Rubie, but we werent' sure because she was all tensed up, and I thought she was in pain. She was also breathing weird. I worried about her all night, and we called the Vet first thing in the morning, and they were booked. But they said to bring her up, and they would squeeze her in between appt.'s. I dropped her off, and she stayed there for a few hours, the Vet had called and said she just had an upper respiratory infection, and that she would be fine. We are thankful that Meijer gives out free antibiotics, even to cats. :) 2, scripts in a week! Between the kids, and the animals....they sure keep us on our toes, and stressed out! LOL

Kinda sums my day up, but on another note. I need to up cycle this t-shirt, and a dozen others. I want to make some tank tops, and this shirt is one. :) Plus I needed a photo of the day, and I was folding laundry.

Day 159: Italian Sodas

Today I made some Italian sodas for Kwintyn, Kameron, & Frank. The other kids are not here, so they miss out! I haven't made one for myself yet, maybe I'll make one tomorrow, and take some better pics, too. :) Kwintyn had the strawberry, which is pictured. I didn't get a pic of the blueberry, Frank & Kam had that. It's good, but I think I need to find the right mixture of everything to get the perfect taste. Guess I can work on that tomorrow, too. :)  Got the recipe from Pinterest, from the blog, Sugar & Sweet. They have the homemade syrup recipe, too.

Italian Sodas

Ingredients: Homemade Strawberry or Blueberry Syrup, Club Soda, Cream (half & half)
Fill a glass with ice. Pour 1/4 part syrup over the ice. Add in the club soda. Pour in amount of cream. Stir, & taste, and add to your taste desire.

Day 158: Lazy Sunday

What a lazy Sunday we had!! Well, I'd call it more hectic than lazy. Frank & I, both got up at 11:40 a.m. today!! He never sleeps in that late!! He's a morning person, I am not. But getting up so late in the day, made our day more hectic....and rushed. We did get some grocery shopping done today! We got out of the store a bit late, and even though we had just went grocery shopping, we stopped at Culver's to pick up some dinner. I hate to admit, but we do that a lot after grocery shopping. By the time we got home, put groceries away, and then make dinner, it would have been late. And I just wanted to eat!! It was already after 7pm!! We missed our weekly visit with Grandma today, too. :( Next time we have a lazy Sunday, we better have groceries in this house!!! LOL It didn't help that I didn't have my grocery list finished. If you know me, I HAVE to shop with my list, and I meal plan, and that wasn't made up that well. Scramble Sunday should have been more like it.

Day 157: Party!

Today we went to a graduation party for our friend's son. Was a nice party, and we enjoyed ourselves. Chelsea was bored, but she seemed like she was having fun. Kwintyn had fun, he played with a lot of kids. Was nice to see people we haven't seen in a while, too.

Day 156: S'moreo's!!

SCORE!!!! Found the limited edition S'mores Oreo's today!! I bought 2 packs, but I have yet to try one yet. It's gonna be my evening indulgent tonight. :D I heard they are good....maybe I should have bought more packs like I was thinking?! Next thing to find, Minion Tic Tacs!! I NEED to find them!!! Well, I did on Amazon, and else where, and they were going for quite a bit of $$. Hopefully I can find them in a gas station or something?

Day 155: Last Day Of School!!

Today was the last day of school for the kids. Next year we will have 2, sophomores, 1, 8th grader, 1, 4th grader, and a Pre-schooler!! Summer is here!!

Day 154: Teacher Gifts

Well it's that time of the year, end of school, summer vacation!! Tomorrow is the kids' last day of school. This Fall, Keagan & Kyle will be Sophmores, Kameron will be an 8th grader, Chelsea will be a 4th grader, and Kwintyn will be in Pre-School!! I really wanted to do an awesome teacher gift, but with the Vet bills we recently had, we had to be cheap. Today's pic shows Chelsea's Teacher's gift, and the Bus Driver's gift. Chelsea made up some thank-you cards, and is giving them to all sorts of staff members. :) The little lunch box has Hershey Kisses & a pack of Oreo cookies, with a card that reads, "Thanks for making me a smart cookie." And the Bus Driver get s a bag of M & M's with a card that reads, " Thanks for being a Marvelous & Magnificent bus Driver!" She's gonna miss S.M.

Thank-You Teacher's, Staff, and all who helped my kids get more knowledge this year. :)

Day 153: School Picnic!

Today Chelsea's school had their 3rd grade picnic. Just 2 more days of school, and then summer vacation begins.....well for the boys...I enrolled Chelsea in to summer school. She's not to happy, but she did miss a lot of days this year. Told her she would have to do summer school if she kept missing days...she goes 8 days in June, 2 in July, & another 8 in August. Psssh....summer school....so many grueling days to endure! LOL This is Chelsea's last year in Elementary school, next year she goes to a new school!! Kwin went along for the picnic too, I couldn't get a good picture of the two of them...I couldn't get a good picture of just them. Chelsea did not smile because of all the people around...although I think she would have given me the same face if there wasn't. Hahaha My little Wednesday Addams. LOL ;)

Day 152: Syringe Feeding

We didn't have high hopes of this going so well, especially after we saw the Vet give Rubie her meds.....Yikes! We mixed up some beef baby food with water. Which by the way STINKS!! Who feeds their kids the meat baby foods, it smells like cat food! YUCK! LOL Never did feed that to the kids. Just didn't look appetizing for them. But when you're in a pinch....and it makes lovely cat food. :D We watched a YouTube video of a lady doing a syringe feeding, and that was helpful. Rubie did a lot better than we thought she would do, and it wasn't as messy as we thought it would be. We got one & a half syringes of food in!! Now we are just waiting for her tummy to settle, we didn't want her to vomit, but we still have to do some IV fluids, and give a pill. The pill is what scares me. She growled & almost bit at the Vet. But Frank always had luck with the pills....he never got bit. I think the is is a job for Frank.....hehehe.


Rubie Update: She went back to the Vet today. The Vet said, OMG when she saw her, she said she looked so much better than she did on Friday! We, well I, wasn't getting my hopes up to high. She had some ups & downs over the weekend. But I thought we were going to be looking at a feeding tube, and all sorts of stuff. No talk of surgery for a feeding tube was discussed. She didn't loose anymore weight, she actually gained just a tiny bit, mostly fluids, but that still is good!! Better than loosing weight, which I was thinking she would have. The Vet said that what we were doing over the weekend was great because she looked better. But we can't take credit for that. She'll be Rubie's Hero, forever. <3 We still need to do IV fluids until she is drinking well, and she has 2 meds to take. The vet wants to be kept updated, and we will have her liver checked again in 30 days to see if there is improvement. We didn't check it today because the Vet said it would still be high. Her jaundice is looking better, too. So we really hope she takes well to these syringe feedings & can keep them down. We know it's going to be a long, and trying process but we just love our Rubie Dubie, and will do what ever we can with in our means to help her. So far, it's taking dedication, and a little bit of money, but money can't buy my pets love. Those crazy animals are our family, and make it that much more interesting. Life would be pretty boring without them. We joke that we will probably end up with a lot of pets later in life, because we won't be able to handle the quietness. I kinda have this same thought about my Dad, and Step-Mom....them replacing us with dogs!!! And my Dad wasn't that big on us having pets in the house. Hahaha!! Frank says he wants a miniature pony, and a small monkey so it can ride the pony. I just want a bunny, & a squirrel. And maybe some chickens? Kwintyn wants a rooster. Hahaha!!!
