Day 212: You Little Rebel, You!

Today I had a very nice day. I got to spend some time with my son, Kyle & we went on a photo shoot! I never get to spend time with Kyle, let alone one on one time! So this was nice!! And yes, we used the rebel flag just like he wanted. We're not racist, or anything like that. it's just this flag is old as it was Frank's and I believe he got it at the same age Kyle is, 16. Plus, with all that rebel flag uproar lately, Frank pulled them out. I mean they took it off the General Lee for Pete's sake!!! LOL! There are bigger problems to worry about...but anyways!!! We were rudely intruded on as 2, dirt bikers were being complete asses!! They tore up the golf course, and were following a few golf carts. I took some pics, and called the course, and now they will have photos. I guess these bikers have been tearing up the course, and harassing golfers so the Police were called a few times. I just hope my photos help. I would hate to loose the privilege to be able to walk out there & take photos. Just takes one person to ruin everything....and I take TONS of photo shoots back there. So F#%! no am I gonna just watch someone be an a$$hole & ruin it for everyone.

Day 211: Say, Cheese!!

Frank, Kwin, & I took a walk today. Seems like a normal thing, right? Well today was a bit different. Frank took my old camera and took some photos of our walk as well. He mainly took pictures of me...siiiigh. LOL I just hate the camera on me. Hahaha! But he did get some good shots. He got me trying to get some shots of Kwin, which is me on the ground. And then I showed the pics of Kwin that I took. Kinda neat to have some pics of me in action though, a friend got a shot of me at my vintage picnic shoot last week which I thought was cool.

Day 210: Take The Long Way Home

Oh, so happy to have gotten out of the house today...even if it's just to pick up dinner. Without the kids!! Chris stayed with the kids so Frank, & I enjoyed our trip in peace & quiet. I also enjoyed a strawberry sundae on the way home. And I also shared because I wanted to, not because someone was begging for a bite. 😁 You know how nice that is?!?! Hahaha 😜 Can we take the long way home?

After all this time, I'm still in to you.

Day 209: Fly Me To The Moon

Let me play amongst the stars. Let me see what spring is like on A-Juniper & Mars...in others, hold my hand...In other words, baby, kiss me! If you don't know, I just swoon over Frank Sinatra. 💕 I had nothing again for a pic of the day. So, I just looked up at the sky & took a picture...on my iPod. I figure I need to get good at using this camera, too. 😉 But I played around with an app, and actually really like this photo. So there you have it. 😁

Day 208: Caught My Eye

So I knew I needed a pic of the day, and I had been busy all day. Still editing pics! I had to take many breaks as my leg is hurting & is swelling, and my neck is still giving me issues so sitting hasn't been pleasant. But this beauty kept catching my eye all day, and so behold, my pic of the day! Might be the last of my daisies to bloom, too.

Day 207: Little Miss Busy!

Busy, busy, busy is what I have been. Especially editing photos...which made me a little behind in my blogging. LOL But I LOVE it! :)

Day 206: Celebration!!

Today we had breakfast with Sam, Seth, and a big group of friends. We all were there to send Sam back to Florida & say goodbye. :( Really hated that part. But I am so very thankful for the time that we did get to spend with her. Later in the afternoon we went to a celebrate the marriage of our friends, Marty & Krystal. Was very lovely & we had a good time. We had to leave because Kwintyn fell asleep after getting up very early in the morning...which he isn't use to doing. So he passed out in a chair. LOL Congrats, Marty & Krystal!

Day 205: Another 1st Birthday Photo Shoot!

Had another 1st birthday photo shoot today! This time was for a little girl, I did her newborn shoot as well. She is such a sweetheart, and was a little more go-go than my lil guy. She loved the chocolate cake that her Nana had made for her. It's so fun watching little ones eat! Haha! She enjoyed her outdoor bath, too. I got some lovely photos of her shoot, and can't wait to share more. Her eyes are the most beautiful eyes! I have one shot that her pupils look like hearts, I was amazed. It is now my new favorite photo & I plan to get in o a canvas....for myself! LOL

1st b-day photo shoot

Day 204: More Fun!

We got to spend more time with Sam & Seth today. Kevin & Maria were so very kind, and let us intrude. LOL They were awesome! And the kids had fun playing & swimming, thanks again, Kevin & Maria. :)

More Fun!

Day 203: SURPRISE!!

I was excited for today as today was our visit with Seth. But to our amazement we got the surprise of the summer! Our bestie, Sam surprised us! She wasn't going to come along for this road trip but decided at last minute she had to go, and I am SO happy she did. She surprised so many people! Was the best day, ever!

P.S. My blogs are late as we were busy visiting!

Day 202: 1st Birthday Photo Shoot

Today was the day for my vintage picnic photo shoot. My neck gave me issues earlier, but by the time I got to doing photos I forgot about my neck pain, so it got a bit better. Editing is gonna suck! LOL It's starting to crap on my other side now.....lovely! lol It was so great to see my little buddy today, he is getting so big!!! He looks different, more like a bigger boy now. Like a toddler! He is such a handsome boy, and my heart has a special place for him. <3 Here is my shoot from today!

Hello, Handsome!

Day 201: Pre-Shoot

Do you know what goes in to a photo shoot? Some might think they do. The photographer shows up, or you visit their studio, and think the magic happens. Not so. So much thought goes in to a photo shoot, well at least for me as as I can't speak for every photographer out there. But a lot of thought goes in to one shoot. I like to reach out to my clients & see what they would like for a photo shoot, any special spot? Special pose? Ect, ect. But I also like to throw in my ideas from time to time, and this session that I am doing, and I did just that. Also we need to think of lighting, a very important part of the photo shoot. The perfect time to have a photo shoot is in the morning, or in the evening before sunset... sunrise/sunset. No harsh shadows! Props.....thinking of the perfect prop for that session. So, really a lot does go in to a shoot before it even happens. And a lot goes in to it after as well, editing can take hours, or even days!! And not every photographer can get the same shot, as each has different eyes, and editing abilities. It's really an art in itself. A vision from the photographer that comes to life! I'm proud to say that this is my vision I had for my vintage picnic shoot!! I may rearrange things a bit, move a few things, but this is it. :D I just need to add the cake, and the balloons!! Oh, and the model!!

Day 200: Happy 7th Anniversary!!

Frank, & I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary today. It really doesn't seem like it was seven years ago. I remember planning, and planning, finally after 10.5 years, 4 kids later, we tied the knot. I remember being so calm that day, which was not like me at all! I usually stress, but for some reason I was so calm, and had the mentality that nothing was going to ruin my day. It rained, I asked for a bit of help from a few people up stairs and guess what?! It stopped raining!! They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck. We did get a little rained out on a few pictures but I didn't stress, and I had a smile on my face all day, my face actually hurt from smiling, I don't smile often, either. I had a wonderful time at our wedding, & I think it was a pretty awesome wedding if I do say so myself. Typical Polish wedding, lots of booze, and polka music!! Our wedding party was the best!! And Keagan, Kyle, Kamereon, & Chelsea were even in the wedding. Chelsea stole the show, believe it or not! Was the center of attention, crouching between Frank & I, during the ceremony. Boy, were they so little!! I told Frank that marriage hasn't treated us very well because we look so young in our wedding photos!! It's only been 7 years!!! Hahaha!! It's true...marriage will age you. Happy Anniversary, Frank! I love you with all my heart & soul.

P.S. 200 days!!!

Day 199: You & Me

Date night for Frank & I!! Sad thing is, we're in for the night. LOL! Our anniversary is tomorrow. We had a wonderful dinner at Bennethums. And then we went & fed Callie cat, a friends cat. Looked at Hobby Lobby for a few things for my photo shoot...which I found nothing. Got coffee at Tim Horton's...which by the way sucked! Then off to the gas station, and then home. That's a hot date for ya. ;) Nah, our sitter had something come up so we had to keep it short. Was nice to get & away without the kids. Always grateful to have alone time, even if it's just a minute or two.

Day 198: Ideas Are Blooming

I have a photo shoot coming up soon, and the ideas are just a flowing. Mr. Jaxon will be turning 1 year old soon, and I told his Mama that I would do his 1st year photo shoot if she would like. Of course she said, yes! I have 3, shoots I'd like to do. A formal, a picnic style cake smash, and an outdoor bath. I'm super excited to do this shoot as I did the outdoor bath with Kwintyn, and I just love how that turned out. Also, I get to see my little buddy again. I bet he's so much bigger now...been a month or so since I seen him. Now let's just hope the weather holds out. I forbid Frank from mowing the lawn because I need those weeds in my photos!! It really needs to be mowed but until then, it's gonna grow. The things you do for that perfect photo. Haha!

Do Not now the grass!!! (I can see a heart in this pic, where the sun is trying to shine through.)

Day 197: Those Who Don't Believe In Magic Will Never Find It

Took a small wonder through the yard today. Found a few hearts. <3 I thought the shadow of the heart was neat. I took these on my iPod so not the best, but I'm not complaining much. ;) He said, "Above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it. ~Roald Dahl~

Today's find.....Love

Day: 196: Guess What Day It is?!?!

So, I thought it was Thursday almost all day long. Even had a conversation with a friend about what day it was. I didn't hear her say it was Wednesday, and she didn't hear me say it was Thursday. I told the boys they needed to take the garbage to the road for pick up on Friday. That is when I was informed it was Wednesday. Do'h!! *sings* Today is Wednesday, all day long! I sing that to Kwintyn to tell him what day it is. Haha *Note to self: Tomorrow is Thursday.....all day long.

Guess what day it is?!

Day 195: Itsy Bitsy Spider

Found this little guy on my flower today. He came out after the rain. His name is Eddie. :)

Day: 194: A Woman Is Helpless Only While Her Nail Polish Is Drying

I was always a nail biter so I never had long nails. My nails have been growing quite well after starting the D.E. I think having nail polish on helps me from gnawing at my nails, also helps when you find a color that you really like. I've been doing good at keeping my nails long, I hope I can stay with it. It's hard not to pick at them when one breaks. :/ The one thing I don't like about long nails is the crap that gets stuck under them, which leads to excessive hand washing for me. I really would like to learn how to paint my nails with all the designs & stuff but my hand isn't that steady, and I don't have all the tools, or polish to do so. I really don't have a lot of nail polish since I really never painted my nails before. Now I want tons of colors! LOL I found these two at Walmart, but I found one a the dollar store that was almost the same color of the turquoise one. My friend really likes that one, and has borrowed it a few times, and has gotten a lot of compliments wearing it. I am wearing both of these colors right now. :) These colors go really well together.

Day 193: One Of The Boys

Chelsea is pretty used to being "one of the boys." Always been a tomboy in a dress kind of girl, I guess that's what you get when you have 4, brothers. She's not afraid of getting dirty, but her outfits are that of a fashionista! You should see some of her outfits! LOL Chelsea & Kameron have been playing with the neighbor's grandson's again this Summer. They come up to visit, so the kids get to play. :) They like to play Zombies, and go on bike rides, and go getting dirty at that "sand" hill. I told her it's not sand, it's dirt, so quit playing in it! Hahaha!!! They have a lot of fun when these boys are here. Kameron was inside when I took this picture so I will have to take another of all 4 of them.

Day 192: Eye's Wide Open

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open. Today's adventure, ice cream, and the park. The kids really needed that. :) Always stopping & smelling the flowers..well in my case admiring them. The park had some pretty flowers, and the simplest flower caught my eye, the Daisy.

Day 191: Alien Sighting!!!

I caught an alien on camera today! He was sent down on sunbeams & sunshine. I think I see a heart next to it, too?! They just want to send sunshine, rainbows, & love, folks. Not here to take over our planet, Earth....which is kinda gross, so what intelligent being would even want to take it over?! If I was an alien, I would pick the planet that is the farthest away from all these a$$&@!e human beings. Oops. Did I say that?! Eh, even if it's not an alien I did catch some gnarly sun flares. Taken on my iPod, too. Been taking more pics that way lately......gotta get outta that!

Hello, Starshine! The Earth Says Hello!

Day 190: Leave Nothing, Take Nothing, Kill Nothing.

Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures, kill nothing but time. Nature was calling my name, so off on a walk we went. How lovely is this milk weed flower? It smells so lovely, too! I think I need some of this for my garden! I'm imagining all the butterflies.....and bee's.

I've never found time spent amongst nature to be a waste of time.

Day 189: Siri-ously!!

Well I had quoted Nappy Roots today, It's gonna be a good day. I had hopes of it being a good day, and to save the drama for another day. I ended up being pissy today...what's new, right?! LOL I ended up enjoying a beer...hey, it was past 5pm!! Was lucky to have beer in the fridge. I had 0 F*%$ks to give, and well, beer & Siri sure made things a lot better. Hahaha. Don't judge. lol

Beer & Siri=good times I said, Me either, and she thought I said, meaning there. Oy, Siri! Oy!

Day 188: Snack Attack!

In hopes of snacks lasting longer I spent the day bagging snacks in to portion sizes, and every night I will now set out snacks that they can have for the next day. Once they eat it, it's gone. So they can eat it all at once, or spread it out through the day. We spend so much money in food, and with in a few days a lot of stuff is gone because they over consume, and go way over the serving size. I'm sick of it! Call me mean, I don't care. But most of the time I'm sure they are just bored. Skipping a few snacks won't starve them, but it surely will save our check book. So I'm wondering how long my snack will last, and how this will go. They have quite the choice in snacks! Cookies, fruit snacks, pretzels, goldfish, chips, cereal bars, applesauce, cheese, carrots, muffins that I made, yogurt, smore's mix I made, blueberries, melon, animal crackers with frosting dip, celery & P.B, turkey, and I still have to boil some eggs I think Kwin will like that in his snacks. It took me a few hours to do all this, and get it all organized. I had to move a few things to make room for the snack. I really want to make my closet in to a pantry!!! I told the kids I will be keeping count of all the snacks in my snack drawers, and will know if any is missing. Again, call me mean...tell me something I don't know. Keep rolling you're eyes while your at it. (Just cause I know how pissy people can be, and are..and like to judge people on all sort of stuff now days..like from the snacks I picked, and I know I'm gonna offend someone, always do!) Don't give me the excuse of "they are growing." They get breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a lot of times dinner gets wasted due to all the snacking through out the day....Simple solution....cut out & portion the snacking.

Day 187: Oh, Sh&t...It's Monday!

Yep, pretty much sums it up.

Day 186: Helping Hands

Today Frank, & Keagan helped out a friend, and put down some flooring down for her. She needed some help, and asked Frank for his expertise. :D He was kind & did the job for her, and Keagan helped, too. I was the supervisor, a very important job, by the way. :) Kwintyn was the little gopher, he got his Dad what he needed. His tape measure, hammer, ect. That boy was sure dirty but the end of the job. He ended up playing in the dirt. LOL

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it's at the end of your arm, as you get older remember that you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others. ~Audrey Hepburn~

Day 185: Happy 4th Of July!!

Happy Fourth of July!!! Frank worked, so did Kyle. :( But we did enjoy some burger & hotdogs on the grill for our all American, 4th of July dinner. We went to Boyne City for the fireworks, and our friend Amy enjoyed in the festivities with us. As usual they put on a good show.

Day 184: Only Know You Love Her When You Let Her Go.

And you let her go. Today was a very sad day for us, we lost our Rubie Doo. :( This past May she was diagnosed with Liver Failure, and it didn't look good for Rubie, but that day in May just wasn't her day to go. We tried medications, I.V. fluids, syringe feedings, everything that we could do to try to help her get better. It did work, she did perk up, and was on the right road but it was short lived. We knew this road would be filled with a lot of ups & downs, and it was a touch and go thing. We all started to get our hopes up as she was starting to act like herself again, and seemed to be eating, and gaining a little weight again. This week she just took a turn for the worse, and I knew it was her time, and she would let us know when it was, and she did. Last night she started to get bad, and I knew we would have to call the Vet and say our goodbye's. Since it's the 4th of July weekend, our Vet's office was closed. I checked another place, closed. I was really stressing at this point because I didn't want her to suffer, so I called one more Vet's office, and they were open. They were booked, but fit us in. I am so thankful that this place was open, cause if they weren't we were looking at an emergency call. We all took it pretty hard, but Frank & I, are at peace with our decision, and we know we made the right decision. Chelsea is just taking it really hard, and that just hurts my heart so much. Kwintyn, I think understands, and he looked a bit upset as well but he is doing alright. I know he will ask questions like he did with Felix. It sure is going to be different with out our Rubie Doo. We are going to miss her so much.

Rubie, has a brother Ollie. I took in a stray cat that was pregnant, and she had 2 kittens, Rubie, & Ollie. My kitty twins! They were born just 10 days before our Wedding Day, I watched them be born!! Rubie was named, Rubie because she was born in the month of July, and the birthstone is a ruby! I had to give her the "ie" ending due to the twin thing. :D Rubie was more of Frank's cat, and always has been. Rubie took to him, and Ollie took to me. She did finally make peace with Brownie before passing. Before, she would stalk poor Brownie, and start a fight. After she got sick, her & Brownie could actually be with in inches of each other, and not a fight. Although at times I could see it in Rubie's face that she wanted to go get her. Hahaha! I want to thank a few people who have been amazing to us during our struggles with Rubie. Stacie, with out you, we would not have had that extra time with Rubie. Helping us with the fluids, and the medication, and checking up on her. You are amazing, and we can never thank- you enough for all the help you gave to us, and Rubie. You will always be in our hearts. <3 And to Amy, she has been here for us, and has watched the kids, and has just been a shoulder to cry on, thank-you!! You truly are a great friend, and we appreciate everything! So blessed to have such amazing, kind, helpful people in our lives, especially when the tough times come in. Bless you're beautiful hearts. <3

So hard to say goodbye. We love you, Rubie-Doo!

Day 183: Smile To The World And The World Smiles Back At You.

My Coneflower has been just a growing. I keep taking random pictures of it, and the petals are really getting big. I also have some new sprouts coming along, so soon I will have quite a few. As I was taking a picture today I noticed something. Can you see it?! I thought it was pretty awesome! Do you see it?! Dooooo Yooou?! Can you see the smiley face in this flower!!! The earth really does laugh in flowers!

Smile, it's the boldest statement you can make without saying a word.

Day 182: Don't Let The Silly Little Things Steal Your Happiness

Just felt like a digital art kinda day. Plus I was kinda lazy. Was too, cloudy for my rays of sunshine to shine through today. Sorry, folks! Maybe tomorrow?!
