Day 120: Knifes

Kyle wanted me to take a picture of his new knife. Pretty nice. :)

Day 119: Forever In Our Hearts

Today is a hard day, my heart is so heavy as well as many others. Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the death, of one of our best friends. This whole year just seemed so surreal to me, I just can't except it in my head that he is gone. It feels like he just moved away, as he did just months prior and I just can't speak to him, nor see him. I guess I just don't want to except the fact that he is gone. My heart hurts so, so much for his wife, Sam who has been such a strong woman through all of this, and has been the best Mom in the world, taking care of their son, Seth. She really is struggling everyday with this yet she is the rock her son needs. She truly is an inspiration & is such a strong women, even if she feels she is not. My heart also goes out to Scott's Mom & Dad, and his brothers. It has been an extremely tough year for them as well. Scott also had a lot of friends & other family whom loved him greatly. We all miss him dearly, and life has never been the same since he left. Scott, we miss you beyond words can say, and not a day goes by that we don't think of you. Rest in peace, Scott. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO Please keep Scott's loved ones in your thoughts & prayers, and may they seek peace, and comfort today, and along the road ahead.

Thinking of You, Scott.

Day 118: Help Your Memory

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever...it remembers little things long after you have forgotten everything. ~Aaron Siskind~  Kwintyn found these lovely flowers, and picked them just for me!! D'aww!!! I love that boy so much!

Look Mom, pretty flowers, here they are for YOU!

Day 117: Big Sis & Little Bro

After babysitting today we went on a walk. Chelsea & Kwintyn rolled down the hill on the golf course, they like to do that, and they like the feel on the grass. Kwintyn takes his shoes off. He HAD to wear flip flops on the walk, and he now understands why we say to wear shoes, and socks. He fell, and they kept giving him troubles, he wanted to run. Can't run to fast in flip flops. ;) I got a few quick shots of these two silly kids, and they actually took decent pictures....with each other! LOL Kwintyn actually asked me to take his picture. He'll do that from time to time. :)

Love you to the Moon & Back

Day 116: Good Friends, Good Times.

Had some friends over today for a chilly BBQ, and to catch up, and let the kids play. Was great to have them over, and it's been a bit to long since we got together. Kwintyn played just wonderful with Daphne! They ran, played in the dirt, jumped on the trampoline, had all sorts of fun. It will be so nice when the weather warms up, and we will definitely will be having a lot of bonfires. Friends are always invited, no invitation is need. Come on, Summer!!

Friends!!

Day 115: Baby Animals!

Had a long over due visit with my Sister today. We met the new additions to her family, 3 new goats, and a puppy! She has 4 goats, Kevin, Daisy, Mable? and Buttons, is the baby. I'm not sure what Mama's name is, I think it's Mabel, I just called her the Mama. Buttons is just the cutest little thing...well besides, Cooper, her new little pup he's super adorable, too. Cooper is an Airedale. Kwintyn LOVED his visit at Aunt Amber's. He got to chase around the goats, pet them, feed them, and he got a little nudge from one. LOL The look on his face! He was okay, he just looked so started and WTH just happened? He played with Cooper and pooped him out, and Cooper had to take a nap. My sister always has the prettiest flowers, and has some already starting to pop up. Kwintyn also got to go on a tractor ride with Frank....which I was told that Uncle Jeff never lets anyone drive his tractor, but he wanted Kwin to take a ride, and he was being shy.....Got to see my nephew for oh, 10 mins? He arrived home from work as we were getting ready to leave. But it was nice to see him. :) Was a nice day, and we enjoyed our visit.

Day 114: New Kicks

Keagan was SUPER excited that his new shoes came today. He has been wanting a pair of Air Jordan's for a while now, and so now he has his first pair. He talked highly of his Uncle Scott, who had quite the collection of Air Jordan's, said he is going to wipe them down everyday. He said, Uncle Scott would have loved these! Oh to hear what Scott would have to say. I know he would be proud that he influenced Keagan in to a pair, and I know he would have gotten a talking about taking care of them. I'm sure every time that Keagan wears them he will be thinking of Scott. I like that...he will be with him every step of the way. <3

Day 113: It's Beginning To Look A Like Christmas

Lately I've had this Christmasy feeling, I'm sure it the snow. It needs to go already! I was watching this little red squirrel today, and he must have thought that it was going to be Christmas as well because he was taking sticks, pinecone and running somewhere, then would come back to the same spot, and then run off again. Little guy was burying all this stuff thinking it's Winter. I have another squirrel that I like to watch, he is a big gray squirrel. Watched him take things from our trailer that is filled with things to take to the dump, and then go bury it in the front yard. Kwintyn thought that was funny that he was "stealing" our stuff. I'm sure once I get some bird feed the squirrels, and the chipmunks will be coming around again. Chelsea & Kwin like the chipmunks. :) I'm assuming these tracks where from that little chippy?

Day 112: Bathing Suit Season Ahead

It sure doesn't look like bathing suit season coming up soon with this snow falling down, but it will be here before you know it....or I hope so anyways. I got my bathing suit I ordered in the mail today, you are welcome for me not posting a photo of me it it. ;) It fits nice, I guess. I just need to get to exercising my behind off....literally. Just cause I skinny don't mean I don't have flab.....cause I do. So here's to more squats in the day, and maybe pulling out that P90X again? Ass Whooping time!! I hope I can do it, cause I really don't do well with at home fitness, and sticking to things. Although I have done well with other things I thought was impossible. I decreased my coffee intake by A LOT!! I started out allowing myself 4 cups of coffee, and then slowly decrease the cups per day. The past few days I have been down to 1 cup of coffee, today was suppose to be the day with no caffeine but I wanted to save my last few De-Caf K-cups for tomorrow as I have been drinking De-Caf coffee this past week, and I am low on K-cups. I should have opted for some water but I just can't live without the taste of coffee. So I'm not even sure if you would call that successful?! LOL So, I will take it a day at a time with all this healthy & fit business. I hope the enthusiasm stays. :)

Day 111: Faith, Hope, & Love

Faith, Hope, & Love. Somedays you just need more of one than the other.

And now these three remain: Faith, Hope, and Love. But the greatest is love.

Day 110: Musical Monday!

HELLO, Monday it's my day with my favorite lil guy! He loves my iPod, I have my old one on the dock in the kitchen for music, and every time I have turned it on he gets SO excited! I think he likes to dance & sing like me! Poor guy, he can't even run when I do start......maybe that's why he laughs so much?! I'm betting it's that. But I like that I can hang with someone I can be utterly ridiculously silly with, and NOT think I'm crazy. Kwintyn is getting older, and realizing that his Mom is a little looney tooney. He will tell me to stop singing & dancing!! Can you believe that?! He use to LOVE it when I would do that....ok, so no he didn't. He always said it hurt his ears.....Poor Jax!

Day 109: Fairy Garden

Yesterday while doing yard work I cleaned up an area, and added some rocks, and a log over by where we buried Belle. Those who don't know, Belle was our old dog that we had quite a long time. But I plan on making a fairy garden over in this area & the tree is perfect for a fairy door placement. Just need to go to Hobby Lobby and get stuff for my little fairy garden. Frank wants to get some garden gnomes as well. :) I really hope when we plant grass it will take, we tried many times, and it just doesn't stay long. Kids & dogs don't help with that, though. But it look so blah out there with no grass, it's all dirt! Suggestions would be greatly appreciated for some grass......Hahahaa!!! We need to get this yard green!!

Day 108: Super Proud!!

Got the mail today, and was excited to see that I got a few packages, but I got a letter from the school. I opened it thinking it was a newsletter, or something like that. But I this was even better then the packages I got. Kameron is being honored for having a GPA of 3.75 or higher for all 3 marking periods, the Honors Program is for their highest achieving students!! I am SO incredibly proud of my Son!! I had to have Frank read this himself, because if I was to read it to him I would have teared up, again. Always a proud moment when your kids do something outstanding, especially with academics. Always pushing them to do well, and stay focused in school, that it pays off to have a good education. Because well, they surely don't want to end up like their parents. ;)

Frank & I worked in the yard again today. Got some more raking done, and I spruced up an area in our yard with rocks, and we got a spot for our tire project. Yards looking better, just need to plant some grass, get some mulch, flowers, dirt, patio pavers, stones......It's gonna be a Summer project. LOL

Way to go, Son!!

107: Reduce, Re-Use, Recycle!!

While on a walk just recently I noticed some tires in the woods, looks like someone dumped them there. So yesterday I got an idea, and looked up a few things on Pinterest and decided that I wanted those tires, as I have a project in mind. So today, Frank, Kameron, Chelsea, Kwintyn, & I, all went and got the tires. If you saw us, I'm sure it would have made you think, WTH?! Followed by a LOL...we were quite the sight. We found 5 tires, and so Frank took 2, Kam took 1, Chelsea took 1, and I took one. We are all rolling these tires down the trail, running, and trying to keep the tires spinning. Was quite a workout! Well, for me anyways, I was out of breath, Kam, not so much. Hahaha! We all got a good laugh out of the whole thing. I plan on spray painting them, and then planting flowers in them. I had thought about making something the kids could play on, or even a few   outomans or tire swings. But the yard does need some more color, so we are doing that. I have quite a few painting projects this Spring/Summer to do, dressers, a bed, lockers, a mirror, and now these. One person's trash is another's treasure. :)

Day 106: Hearts Everywhere!

I don't know what it is about me & finding heart shapes in the oddest places. I find them all the time, and sometimes I wonder what makes me find them, and what does it mean? I don't go looking for them, they just pop up. Like this leaf today. We were on our evening walk, and I was taking pictures. Frank, Chelsea, & Kwintyn hid on the path, and tried to scare me. I laughed, and we started walking. I stopped because this leaf caught my attention. I just like how it sat, and did not notice the heart shape until I started to focus my lens & then BAM it was there. It was the oddest heart finding for me, because it's like it literally called my name. This tiny little heart on this tiny little leaf, and not at eye level, it was more to the ground. I always smile when I find a heart shaped object in something. I like to think of it as a good sign from either Nature, God, or the Universe, or someone who is gone that was greatly missed sending their love my way. I'm a believer in signs, just am.

Follow your heart....

Day 105: No Bueno

Trying to decrease my coffee intake, no bueno. I'm having withdrawals....bad headaches. I went all day with no caffeine. I finally caved when Frank said he was going to go get some gas, and I said, "Can we go to Hortons?' I treated myself, and everyone to donuts, and got myself a coffee. I was trying to limit myself to just 4 cups a day, but I still want to decrease that so I bought some de-caf coffee thinking it would be like a placebo effect. Well, it's not working!! LOL But I am proud of myself because I am a coffee addict, and this is hard. I have been drinking more water, and I am just not a water drinking kind of person, but I have been craving water more, so that is a good sign. Being healthy can suck sometimes, but I am just focusing on all the good. We are on day 7 with the DE, I thought we were on day 6!! I have noticed some improvements in that short time. My face is looking better, still have break outs, but it's looking better, and healing faster, and my nails are getting longer. My belly has had some improvements as well. I was never much of a breakfast/lunch person, it would make me feel icky if I did eat. But I have enjoyed lunch this week, and a couple bowls of cereal. Frank had these dark circles under his eyes for the longest time, and they are gone. Chelsea also had these dark circles, too. Our eyes are looking more clear, like we got the sparkle back to our eyes. Chelsea has not complained of a stomach ache yet, her appetite, and mine has gotten better. Keagan is also saying he is feeling hungrier....not sure if that's a good thing for him, since that kid can eat! haha! I haven't had a change in my energy level, but I don't feel as tired, and I do feel better. But I was hoping for an increase in energy. But, it is only a week on DE, so I know it takes time. I remain hopeful for the next few months. So far, so good. :) We went on a walk today to burn the donut calories off, and I ended up taking almost 50 pics. Sometimes I get so in to taking photos that I don't realize I took so many. I thought I only took a few, so it was tough to just pick one photo for the day so I did a collage. I do this when I have a hard time picking. :)

Donuts & fresh air.

Day 104: Silly,Silly!!

Since the weather has been warming up I have been slacking on my housework, we've been to busy outside! We are getting work done out there, so there is work being done. We just set up the trampoline on Sunday so the kids have been enjoying that. Kwintyn was jumping today, and he noticed his hair was sticking up, and wanted me to take a picture. He was just cracking me up with his silliness today. Maggie & Sarge are enjoying the outdoors too, and Mags, well what can I say?! She is one crazy, silly dog. Kwin wanted her to get up on the trampoline today, but Frank has to take down the safety netting, and put up the safety cushion. He needed to put the cushion on first before the safety netting, and he didn't do that when setting up, so just a minor adjustment, and then Mags can jump too. She wanted up there today! Silly, Mags!! Oh, and I have no clue how Kwin got the scratch on his face, he woke up with it on Saturday. And he has chapped lips. :(

Silly, Silly!

Day 103: Hey Sproutlets!

Look what's popping up, flowers!! Can't wait for flower season! I need to get more to plant in a few places, and I need to put more in a planter. I always end up with a few new flowers, or plants every year. My tulips never did so well, and so I want to find something else for the place of those. Trying to get it where I have flowers all year. Early Spring, to Fall. I still have a lot to go for that but maybe someday. :) I would LOVE a tree with some sort of blossom, I just love the blossoms on some trees. I can't wait to go on a flower shoot. Just another month or so.

Signs of Spring

Day 102: I DID IT!!!

The boy made an achievement today! Kwintyn can now cross the monkey bars ALL BY HIS SELF!! He said, "I DID IT!!!!" Super excited, and he has one happy boy! Me, I wanted to cry. My baby is getting to be such a big boy!! I remember the first time he climbed up to that thing, and hung there. I didn't see him climb up the darn thing, and then I look up, and see him hanging there.....I screamed. LOL Scared the dickens out of me!! He was 2!!! Adult supervision is always near, as I am still afraid he's gonna fall, and break a bone! We got a lot more raking done today, too, and spent the majority out the day outside. It was even nicer than yesterday!! Kwintyn, Chelsea, Frank, & I ate outside as Kwintyn REALLY wanted to. Was another wonderful day!!

I did it!!

Day 101: What A Wonderful Day!!

It was so nice out today!! We got some raking done, and the snow piles are getting smaller. The snow is almost gone!!! The sunshine felt wonderful as we sat outside & watched the kids play. I knew Spring was coming. I'm sure there might be more cold days, and possibly with more snow, but it's coming. :D It felt so wonderful to be outside, the kids even played nice. What some fresh air will do. We had steaks on the grill, and then we went out for our first walk on the trail. I think everyone is going to sleep well tonight. :) While on our walk I found this leaf on the trail, yep, it's a heart! I take that as a very good sign. :)

"I always can find my heart in Nature. Whenever I feel lost, all I have to do is go to it." Did I just make a quote?! Is that already taken? LOL I like that....

Day 100: One Hundred Days!!!

Can you believe that we are already, 100 days in to 2015?! I bet the other 265 days will go by fast. Although I am not looking that far ahead, yet. I'm looking more in to Day 150 and up....Summer!! It will be here so very soon, even if it doesn't look like it, and there is snow falling to the ground. It is near.

I hope you all have enjoyed my 365 project so far. I wasn't to sure about sharing it on Facebook this year, but there were some important people who wanted to see my project, and that is why I choose to share on Facebook as well. It's not exciting, nor is it anything spectacular. But I do this for me, and to be able to look back on the year of 2015. This is my 4th, 365 project, and I can go back to each day, and remember what we did, or how the day was just by a picture, and some words I can go back to that day if I wanted to. I love that I can do that, and hope my kids will enjoy these photos series later in life. Maybe my Grand kids, or Great Grand kids will see how spunky I was, and awesome I was? ;) I don't do this to brag in any way, or say that my life is better than others, or for other destructive reasons. I do it for myself, because I love doing. I am just giving the privilege of sharing this with others as a peek in to my world. Ok, so there might be days were I have bragged, but most likely it was about my kids, or an accomplishment, or something I am genuinely excited about. I try to find something everyday to take a picture of, and I try to make it interesting, but there are some days where it is hard. Some days I don't even want to do a photo, but this is something I try my hardest not to give up on, because I like using my camera everyday. I haven't been busy with photography, but that is OK with me. I really don't like shooting in the Winter. LOL I kinda dread it. :/ I have lots of ideas for this Summer, so hopefully I can put them to good use. And hopefully my project will get more interesting. Just wait till Spring, it will be flowers, nature, more flowers, and more nature!! I can't wait!!!!

100 DAYS!!!!

Day 99: Got Milk?

I want to make smoothies, and mix DE in to it but didn't want to use milk, I wanted to add something healthier, yet that was still creamy like milk. So I thought coconut milk or almond milk would be good to use. I know we tried almond milk, and I think coconut milk, and didn't like it. But I thought since we are adding it to fruit it would taste better? Here's to trying something new. :) Anyone like this stuff? How do you use it? lol I'm curious.

Day 98: A Little Dirt Won't Hurt

Ok, so it really isn't actually dirt. But we started taking Diatomaceous Earth today, we are going to be taking this as a supplement for 90 days. What is Diatomaceous Earth you ask? DE is made from fossilized diatoms, diatoms are microscopic skeletal remains of unicellular algae-like water plants that are found in fresh water & such. The diatoms are then rendered to a powder like form. It is a natural compound, and has magnesium, silicon, calcium, sodium, iron, and other trace minerals. Some people may have heard of Diatomaceous Earth and have used it. There are 2 kinds of DE, Food grade & industrial grade, as used in pool filters. I stress the FOOD GRADE here, as the other kind can kill you. It is commonly used as a bug killer. How is this SAFE? I really thought the same thing. It's not like a chemical, DE has microscopic razor sharp edges, these edges cut the insects protective covering, and drying it out, and killing it. But it is perfectly safe for humans, dogs, and cats to use. Anything with an exo-skeleton it will kill it. DE has many health benefits and that is why I we are trying this. I have done a lot of research about DE, and everything comes back with good things about it. DE has a negative charge, and so it will attract & absorb all positive charged pathogens. So when taken internally it can remove things like viruses, pathogenic fungi, and bacteria, heavy metals, prescription drug residue, pesticides, parasites, and radiation, and sweeps them out of our body. DE on a hardness scale would be a 7, it's been said it's like scrubbing bubbles for the digestive tract. AGAIN FOOD GRADE ONLY!!! DE is NOT recommended by the FDA. Consumers who used DE have reported lowering high blood pressure, lower high cholesterol, Osteoporosis, & joint related issues, like arthritis. Detox your body, some reported weight loss, and it's good for skin, hair and nails  teeth & gums due to the silica that is in it. Mastitis in breastfeeding woman. It is known to be safe for pregnant & breast feeding Moms, helps the digestive tract. It has a lot of many household uses as well. If you are curious and want to know more about DE, research it because I don't think I do a good job explaining stuff that well. I tend to jump around. I wanted to start this journey earlier this year, but I procrastinated, and went back and fourth with my thoughts but I said it's worth a try. I'm tired of feeling the way I have been feeling, and I feel it won't hurt anyone else neither. The dogs & cats are in on this, too. Going to be doing a journal...hopefully on the progress, if any. :)

Day 97: Shits & Giggles

So when shopping on Amazon beware of "customers who viewed this item also viewed" because you could be buying something that you really didn't plan on buying, or ever think of buying. Yep, that is something that happened to me. Not sure how I came across wigs, but I did. It peeked my curiosity, and it had really nice reviews, and looked nice on all customer images. So I said what the hell, I'll buy it for shits & giggles. It wasn't much at all, under $20. I never really wore a wig before, I tried them on before, and thought I looked silly. I will admit, I feel really silly. But it is also a lot of fun, as you can see the selfies I took today. I'm not sure if I will ever wear this out in public? Like I said, I feel silly, and feel like people can tell it is fake. But as a stay at home Mom life isn't really too exciting, so I am making my own excitement. Not sure if the kids like it or not. Kwintyn has already told me numerous times he hates it. LOL!!! I think the rest of them think I look stupid, but don't want to hurt my feelings. Frank says he likes it, but had the same feelings as I had when he shaved his face.....Who are you?! Hahaha!! I need to do more with my eyebrows as that looks unnatural. Most people with this amount of hair have thicker eyebrows. I'd like to get another wig, one that is an ombre style. I have always hated my hair, and could never have it long, or thick. It's baby fine, & thin. Won't hold a curl, and always looks like crap. The past few years really taken a toll on my hair, as it is thinning. Like I said I already had really thin hair, so this made me hate my hair more. Another reason why I'm taking supplements, too. But people can laugh or talk all they want, I'll just be in my own little world thinking I'm Penelope Cruz for the day. I'm also very nervous posting this.....:/

Who Dat?!

Day 96: Oh Monday!!

Still having the troubles from Friday. My printer has been giving me issues, and I REALLY need to use it!! I need a return label printed out, and I can't do so. I could pay $1 for them to mail it to me.....it might be my only options at this point because I can't figure out how to get my printer connected again. UGH!!!! DAMN ELECTRONICS!! Make me feel so.......stoopid. I'm sure it's an easy peasy fix, too. My mind is about to explode. and I am needing to walk away from it as it's testing my patience. Our WiFi is also giving us issues as well. What gives?! Surely not the end of the world, but it's enough to piss ya off! So I am just gonna relax, and look at this Jamberry nail catalog. I need some pretty nails for this upcoming wedding I'm in. And as everyday does have its good, I did get to hear some good baby laughs today. Now that alone will make your day!!!

Day 95: Hoppy Easter!!

Happy Easter!! We had an okay, Easter. Kyle had to work so that was the bummer. But we did get to spend some time together before heading over to Bellaire. Grandma had an egg hunt set up for the smaller kids, Chelsea & Kwintyn. They had fun finding eggs, and some had money, kids loved that. Grandma also had Easter baskets for the kids, and Frank & I even got a little something. :) Was a chilly, but beautiful day. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter as well. Oh!! And my battery died on both of my cameras so I did not get a picture of Kyle & his basket. I did take a picture of his basket with my iPod. LOL Soooo....tomorrow I'm getting that pic. Late or not! haha!

Easter 2015

Day 94: Easter Prep

Spent the day getting things ready for Easter. We are going to my Mother in Law's for Easter dinner this year. I am making homemade cheesy potatoes, pistachio fluff, and Peep cupcakes. Kids dyed eggs, Kwin had to make a Police egg, he is loving Police Officers lately. Kwintyn helped with the cupcakes...if you call eating the peeps help. LOL He called them birds. haha! We also had to leave a carrot out for the Easter bunny. This post is late, but I did have my pic of the day, just didn't blog...it was late.

Day 93: Good Day

Just not a good day. Nothing is working for me today. So good day. That is all.

On a good note my iPod came today. :D

Day 92: Redneck BBQ

I'm not sure what makes this a Redneck BBQ? I think it's the deer. But we pulled out the grill today & cooked up some hamburgers & hotdogs. Yard looks like crap......literally. It's poopapoolza out there. Can't really do much yard work since we still have snow, and everything is really wet. I can't wait for warmer Spring days, and sunshine!! Ready for yard work, BBQ's, & Bonfires!!

First grill of the season!

Day 91: Plates

Got our plates today, Frank was super excited! We got our Michigan plate, and our Aviator plate today. The Aviator needs a bath, but there is no help in keeping it clean at this time of the year. It's pure mud out here. So I foresee lots of car washes in the future. Still have to get it all detailed out how I want to, just haven't had the time to get to it. Plus our driveway is mud. I'm almost to the point of buying those little footie's for shoes just so I can keep more dirt out. LOL And I have to get some kick seat mats so little feet don't mess up my seat! Frank likes the look of his vanity plates so much he is looking for one, for the back. He already seen one he wants....and a ton of other things, too.

Oh, and no falling for any silliness today.....but the day isn't over yet....Happy April Fool's Day!
