Day 242: Happy Birthday To My Husband!

Happy Birthday to my husband, Frank! We are finally the same age....for a weeks weeks. :) I hope you enjoyed you're day, and the cake that I slaved over making for you! That cake was just so hard to make! LOL I made him a candy bar cake. He likes candy bars, like I, like doughnuts! Sooooo....candy bars it was! Happy Birthday, Babe! I love you!! <3

Day 241: Don't Get Me Started, I Don't Come With Brakes

Busy day today! We helped some friends move today, and Frank finally is getting new brakes on the Expedition so I will finally get the Lincoln! We have been down to 1, vehicle for a while. Frank needed a little help when his jack broke, so many thanks to Kevin, & Mitchell for coming to the rescue!

Day 239: Fair

Took the kids to the fair today! I have never been really impressed with Otsego County Fair, I can remember going to my first fair up here and was like, "What is this?" This is your fair?" LOL It really hasn't changed much. I had so much fun going to the Branch County fair, and the Centerville fair as a kid. Those were much bigger than OCF, and the Centerville fair was always around my birthday & we got to skip school and go to the fair, we loved  that!! The kids seemed to have a good time, and Kwintyn of course loved all the animals. He missed the chickens due to the bird flu that is going around, I guess. He thought it was so funny when a goat started to head butt the fence where another goat was. He was laughing at that, and he asks me sometimes about goats horns because Aunt Amber has a goat & it head butted him one time, and the questions about goats horns were on after that! Haha! He just loves animals, I can so see him fitting perfect in the farm life. :)

Day 236: My Baby You'll Be

Kwintyn got up early today, and this is the result. He falls asleep a few hours later. His circadian rhythm is all messed up & really needs a tweaking. It's not gonna be fun & I dread it. I'm still Leary on the melatonin, but it's worth a shot! The Dr. even gave us the go ahead to try, just have to find that one I saw, that was promoted more for kids....

As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be. 

Day 235: Knots

My back is full of knots today. My legs feel like they did a million squats. Why? It surely wasn't because I was exercising, just did some deep cleaning. Always tell the kids, if it doesn't hurt when you clean you ain't doing it right! Cleaning isn't for wussies. LOL!!

Day 234: Doll Face

Oy! Cleaning Chelsea's room today. I'm surprised I made it out alive! I found my old doll that I got for my first birthday, well one of them, and I gave Chelsea those dolls on her first birthday. But I'm taking it back. LOL I'm also taking back my other doll, my Cabbage Patch Kid, and some of her dolls. I'm cleaning them up, and going to be putting them in to storage. I would like to give her dolls to her when she gets older so maybe she can give them to her daughter some day. I hope she one! lol

Day 233: Spoiled

Today my Mother in Law spoiled me & the kids today. Every year she takes the kids school shopping, and gets them a few outfits, & school supplies. She started this when they were little, and just starting school, and since then she has made a tradition. She usually takes a couple kids on her own, so she can get more quality time but this time we all went except for Kyle, who was working. It's so kind of her to do this, and I appreciate it. I always tell her not to worry, but then again, it's Grandma. LOL Gotta thank, Grandpa, too. I even got spoiled a bit today. :) We stopped at JoJo's Natural Market today & she bought me a few things. So sweet, & thoughtful she is. 

Day 232: You Color My World

How lovely are these Crayola crayons?! They are special crayons, and I was saving them for a rainy day....and today just happens to be a rainy day. The kids got them back when Sam & Seth visited, Seth made them at Crayola World! So I was waiting for the right day to share these. :) They are put up, and will never be used. LOL Kwintyn already threw a fit because he wanted them. I had offered a brand new box of crayons to him, but he wanted those. Of course! Gotta want something you can't have. How cool are these crayons, though?!

Day 231: Turn Your Cant's Into Cans

In my case particular, a can of beer! Thanks, Dad for leaving you're beer here, I really needed one today. I've been really wanting one of those Root Beer's but they are impossible to find!


This picture with the words just makes a big statement to me. I think of struggles & how people can simply turn their cant's into cans. How easy is it to just numb all that pain with a few cans? This is one photo that I have done that I have actually felt something from it, and not knowing it until the final edit. Now, I don't drink often, so don't be thinking I struggle & do this. I just know it can happen. This picture spoke to me after the final edit, and I think it just has a strong feel to it. Now, I did another edit on the same photo but with different words, it gives off a totally different feel! With that edit, it makes the photo a little humorous.....maybe?! I guess that could give off a strong feel as well.

That's all I could do today. Oh, and mess around on the computer, and found some new fonts. Hopefully, tomorrow I will get some stuff done. Just been one of those pissy days. I know, I have way to many!

Day 229: Say, AHH!!

Kids all had a Dentist appointment today, 3/5 had no cavities. Can't win em' all can we?! Keagan & Kyle FINALLY had their 1st drivers training class today. That is SO expensive!! Good Lord, I'll have 2, drivers soon. :O Kameron would be able to take the class this Winter, but we are waiting till next Summer for him. Aye yi yi...growing up to fast. Pretty soon Kwintyn will be driving....LOL! ;) Now the story to my photo. We were waiting for Frank to get out of work, and I got cloud watching. Just love the cumulus clouds!! So beautiful!! And look, a heart!

Day 228: Sunday, Funday!

Today we took to the kids to a splash pad that we just found out about, Kwintyn really enjoyed that. Kameron, & Chelsea complained that they wanted to go to the beach, so we made a stop at the beach, too. After dinner we went on walk, was a nice Sunday.

Day 227: Oh, How I Have Missed You!!

My Daddy & Step-Mommy came up for a visit!! I hate using the word "Step" but it just makes it easier for people to understand, I do have many Mom's & Dad's, so I have to use the word "Step" or "In-Law" to make things a little easier when explaining or talking about someone. Even the kids will ask, You're Mom, Dad's Mom, ect. Just like when we just say "Grandma" or "Grandpa" the kids say, which one?! But with my Dad & Step-Mom, it's Busia & Dzia-Dzia, which means Grandma & Grandpa in Polish. They know exactly who we are talking about. LOL But anyways....I was SO happy they came up for a visit because I have missed them immensely. I lived with my Dad & Step-Mom before moving up here in 97' at 17 years old. I would come up her to visit my Mom at vacation times so I have always had a hard time with goodbye's. I'm almost 35 years old, and I cried when they left today. I hate that we live so far away, I know 4 hours isn't nothing compared to what others may have to travel to visit their Mom or Dad. We had a really nice visit, and I just wished we could have more time to spend together. But in the words of Dr. Seuss, Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. And that I am. :) I am so glad that this visit happened.

Day 226: Damn, Canadians!!

Had another photo shoot today, and before we started our session two flocks of geese flew over us...and pooped. I snapped a picture & then was totally grossed out as I heard poop hit stuff. lol Happily it wasn't a lot. Phew! haha!

Day 225: My Cup Of Tea

Kyle got me addicted to sweet tea. I always liked tea, just unsweetened. Or raspberry or peach, but never sweetened. I was looking for a something new to drink, I was just hoping it would be a little healthier. I know I should drink more water but, I just can't even drink half the recommended amount. I envy those who can consume nothing but water.

Day 224: Corn On The Cob

One thing we love about summer is sweet corn! Kids like to help shuck the corn, too. And yes, my son is in his undies. He reminds me of my brother when he was little, he would just be wearing his undies. Keagan & Kyle, also got in a phase of just wearing their undies. They about 3-4years old. I dress him, but he'll come out from somewhere in just his undies. Oh well, less laundry. LOL But I just love these photos of my little helper.

Day 223: You've Been Mooned!

I just mooned you all!! How do you like that?! Hardy, Har, Har!!! LOL!!! I just felt like making some digital art today. Now I was stuck on the quote to use. Which one would you pick?! Can you even read the quotes? lol "I hate you to the moon and back." or "She is like the moon. A part of her is always hidden." Both are true.......Just kidding!!! LOL!!! Day 222: Hercules!!

Well, he decided to stay longer than I thought, and he got HUGE!! So I decided to name him, Hercules. I've had this cyst of a zit on my forehead, and it was growing by the day!! Damn, is it huge!  I feel like I have a bullseye on my forehead. My face has been breaking out so bad lately, it's depressing. I stopped doing a lot of my regimens, and supplements, so maybe that is why? I need to get back on track with everything, and cut my caffeine intake again. I have been drinking a lot of coffee again, and we haven't taken our DE, or vitamins since Summer started. Sure, it's just acne. But if you don't suffer from it, then you can't understand how embarrassing it can be. And nobody can say that it's pretty....an blemish filled face....yeah. I edit that crap out of photos!! Just another one of my many struggles, nothing to get to upset about but sometimes you just get one HUGE zit that just makes it depressing. I'm trying a new approach to zits, I just tried Head & Shoulders shampoo on my face, and Hercules seems to have shrunk a bit. I did a little research and found some posts that had said it was great to use for back acne,, and so others have tried it to their face as well. Guess I'm not the only desperate person out there looking for a cure. And I don't dare to pop it!! I've read to never pop one that big, as it will leave a hole in your have, and unable to cover up with make-up. Hell no!!! LOL!!!! So if you see me, don't forget to say hello to Hercules!

Day 220: Happy 1st Birthday!

Today was my little buddy's 1st birthday party!! I sure do love that little guy!! He had a very nice party, and had lots of fun, and got really messy!! Very happy that we were invited to celebrate this boy's special day. <3

Day 219: Happy 2nd Birthday, Maggie Mae!!

Today is Mag's birthday, she is 2 years old!! She is so full of energy, and can not hold her licker back. You will get licked to death by her. We're trying to teach her, no licking! lol But it just isn't working. haha She is a little under weight but we are working at bulking her up slowly. She is an adolescent dog, and is hyper, & active, and I'm sure she will fill out just fine. Have many comments on how skinny she is. Although she did get diagnosed with colitis as a pup so not sure if that has something to do with it as well. But she is a sweet girl, and she takes no shit! She will try to break up the kids when they get wrestling & fighting. LOL And she has totally dominated over Sergeant!! She plays SO rough with him, but loves him to death. She always has to sleep by him, or ON him. Haha! She can be a pain in the rear, but we love her so! Happy Birthday, Maggie Mae!

Day 218: Throw Back Thursday

I, so wish I just throw myself back on the bed, and go to sleep. I have just been so tired today! I edited photos, and later after dinner, I had to take a nap! And welp, I didn't get a pic of the day today.....oops! But I did use this image in another 365 project, so it is a TBT photo!

Day 215: Monday Woes

What can I say?! Woe is me....BUT the day better. Keagan brought me coffee, AND 6, donuts...don't think he did it just for the hell of it & to be nice. He owed me! I drove him to his friends house...at midnight...yes, he had permission. You think I would just drop him off at midnight without the knowledge of the parents....well in this case Grandma. That's just rude! LOL Although there have been times where I contemplated dropped them all off on someones doorstep. LOL KIDDING!!! And Frank brought me home some pretty flowers today. <3 So sweet & thoughtful!! Now to win the lottery.....

Day 214: Thunderstorms

Today was a rainy day, and we also had thunderstorms that caused some damage, limbs, & trees down, power outages. Luckily for us, we only had a few limbs come down & one needs to come down now. But other than that, we got lucky! Kyle called & said Taco Bell was closed due to the power being out. Also heard Walmart was closed & town was a mess with backed up traffic. We did need to go to the store but decided to wait. We also made a short appearance at another birthday party today.

Day 213: Surprise!!

My sister had a surprise party for her Husband today, he turned 50, just a few days ago. She had it all set up to be at a lake, but when they got there to set up there was already a bunch of people there. I guess there was a family reunion going on, so she took the party back to her house. Was nice to see everyone, haven't seen them in a while. Jeff was surprised, and I hope he liked his party! Happy Birthday, Jeff!
