Day 90: Ooops!!

Well my forgetfulness almost got the best of me. I would say I procrastinated, but I did not. I really did forget to fill it out, and mail it back. I guess this was my second one, too?! I don't recall getting the first one. I got everything straightened out. so I don't have to go to court now....Phew! It's like I threw my juror questionnaire out like some people do, nor did I skip out on Jury duty. I simply forgot to send in the damn paper!! My mind has been in a mental fog for a little bit, heck some days I don't even know what day it is. So with a lot of forgetfulness, and misreading things I am putting myself on vitamins, minerals & some supplements. I know this will help me tremendously!! I am also getting the whole family in on some vitamins, and supplements as well. Hopefully we all will be feeling a little healthier soon, and more on focus.

And to be advised. I'm going to try to limit my coffee intake when I start this health regimen. I may not take this to well. Plus with as much coffee as we go through it could save us some money, and that would be nice. But oh.....WHAT THE HELL AM I SAYING?! OR THINKING?! Limit my coffee.....Oy!

If this is all the trouble I'm getting in to....I'm getting old!! Hahaha!!! Who's bad?! ;)

Day 88: New Gadget!

I finally can get a new device! I have been waiting forever to get something new. I have been using the second generation iPod and it has been pretty awesome! It's held up quite nice, and it was free. I won it!! :D It has a few cracks in the screen, and it has fell in to the toilet....it was clean. lol And it gave me no problems after the toilet incident either. It does run slow, and it boots me every so often. Heck, Kwintyn even uses it, and it so far has with stood him. But since it's so old in electronics terms, it doesn't get any of the new updates, or some apps I can't download. I really liked my iPod before, so I know I'm going to LOVE this one! It's the 5th generation, and it has a camera. My old one does not have a camera, so this will be nice. I sometimes don't want to pull out my big ol' camera, and if I do, I miss the moment sometimes, usually my iPod is closer to me. ;) I'm gonna go crazy with all the apps I can now get! I use to be able to use Pinterest on my iPod, but since it can't handle the new updates, it doesn't work. Frank also is getting a new gadget, he's getting a new radio unit for the Aviator. Oh, and a plate for it. Guess that was fair, right?! I love what my new iPod will say too.

This is Jenny's iPod. There are many like it but this one is mine.

Day 87: Little Girl No More

Today we spent the day cleaning Chelsea's room. If you know how Chelsea's keeps her room, then you know it was a task. I'm still not done! Still have to wipe down the walls, finish cleaning the floors, and organizing to do. I was talking to Frank, and said that we need to re-do her room as she needs a bigger girls room. New paint, new bedding, new curtains, new decorations. She's not a little girl anymore. :( Will be a sad, but exciting day when we do this makeover. Going to take all her little girl decorations down, and put them in boxes, to be stored away. She has this portrait in her room that was in my room when I was a little girl. Hence why it's a little dirty.  I can remember taking this portrait down in my own room when I grew older, as I thought it was to "little girlish" and it was stored away till I hung it in Chelsea's room. My Mom had bought a portrait each for me, and my sister for our rooms. My Sister's was different than mine, but we each had our own. I think she may have hung hers up in her daughters room when she was little as well? I can't remember.

We have a rule to the room makeover, if she can show us that she can keep her room clean, and picked up, and organized until Summer then we will re-do her room. I think I am ordering her new bedding though, gives her an incentive to keep her room clean, and well, it's on sale....and sales don't last that long. ;) We are going to paint her room in a turquoise, and her bedding will be pink with zebra & damask print. It's so pretty! I am already looking on Amazon for decor!! Her new room will look so......grown up!!!

Little Girl no More.

Day 86: The Dog Ate My Homework...

I had my pic of the day planned out early this morning. I laid back down, and when I awoken the dog had ate what I wanted to take a photo of. It was a box. And she got in to the box of clay for Chelsea's school project. Thankfully she didn't eat the clay!! It did have teeth marks in it.....ugh!! It's Friday, and I had nothing going for the day other than being lazy. Since the dog ate my photo of the day, I did the next lazy thing, and made this. TGIF!! While working on this picture, I had the thought of why didn't I just take a picture of the dog?! DOH!

Day 85: A New Car!!

I say that in my best Bob Barker voice. Hahaha! Well, we bought the Lincoln Aviator. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would have been due to some cosmetic flaws. I was really not wanting it. Decals coming off rims, a little crack in the back by the tailgate, some rust in the door jam, a piece from the seat was missing, and it wasn't as clean as I would have liked it to be. I'm SUPER picky if anyone hasn't figured that out yet. But Frank pointed out that a lot of those things can be fixed. New rims, replace piece on tailgate, and get a little body work done on it, and order a new piece for the seat. He really like it! We took it on a test drive, and it rode nice, and the mileage wasn't horrible, and the price was just right as I wasn't looking to spend a lot on a car right now. So we bought it. I screwed everything up by forgetting our checkbook at home, and so it made for a long day. So with things in place, and with the trust of the Dealership they allowed us to drive the vehicle from Traverse City to Gaylord, to our bank to get a cashiers check, ( Somehow they couldn't do it electronically, and they needed the whole payment the same day, before they vehicle can actually leave the lot.) then we went to the Kalkaska office and dropped off the check there. Then by the time we got home, the Lincoln looked dirty, and I still needed pictures, so we stopped at Monte's Auto Wash, and they were closed, but...lucky us, our lovely friend owns the place and gave us a wash. So thanks, Monte's for the wash!! We finally got home at 7:00pm, we left here at 9:00am!! I didn't test drive it, Frank did. But I drove to Kalkaska & back, and that changed my whole opinion on the Lincoln. I LOVE IT!! I feel super comfortable in it, unlike the Expedition. I feel I can actually relax in my seat. In the Expo I find myself sitting up more. It fits me like a glove!! Plus I feel better about Kwin's car seat, this has the LATCH system, and the Expo don't. I always felt like he wasn't in there tight enough, but now he is. Kyle climbed back in the 3rd row when we got home, and he said it was pretty comfy back there. We were wondering how that would play out, and Kyle said it's one of the most comfortable spots in it, surprised me. The Expo you sit really high up, and you're knees are more bent. Kyle said he really liked it. Boys went & checked it out and all like it, Chelsea isn't feeling to well, so she hasn't checked it out yet. And Kwintyn.......

Well, Move over Matthew Mcconaughey! There's a new spokesman for Lincoln. I've been RIDING in Lincoln's long before anyone paid me to do it. I didn't do it to be cool or make a statement. I just liked it. Kwin's been pimping in a Lincoln for 3 years now.....he's 4 years old. Bet you know what this boy will be driving when he gets older?! Hahaha! He says now I need a new car seat!! Safety first!! :)

Day 84: I'm The Baby! Gotta Love me!!

Today I babysat, but only had the baby. Soon after he got here, Kwintyn says he wants to hold him. So he did, he has only asked to hold him a few times. I think it's cute when he does. But I had pulled out this high chair we used when we traveled, so I could feed the baby since he's eating baby food now. Well shortly after dinner time Kwinytn moves the chair in to the living room and wants to sit in it. Ok. So then he asked for some waffles that were left over from dinner, and some milk. So he sat there in the high chair eating his waffles, and drinking his milk while watching his cartoons. LOL I wasn't complaining because it kept him still for a while. Hahahaha! It can turn in to a booster seat, but we don't use anything like that. Glad we kept it though, as it is coming in handy. :)

I'm the baby, gotta love me!!

Day 83: Application

Today we went to the bank, and started up a new account, and got things rolling for our loan. Thursday we are going to go look at a vehicle. So far I like it, so we just have to take a look, and a test drive and see what we think. If we like it, then we will be owners of a Lincoln Aviator!! Kwintyn is going to be excited!! That boy, and his Lincoln's. he's also excited about getting a new car seat, which I still have to decide which one to buy! I hope it's nicer than the pictures that we have seen, cause this would be perfect for us. A little smaller than the Expo, but I did want a little smaller. :)

Day 82: Lil' Boogers

Babysat today, and the boys played nice for a little bit today. They are getting better, but Kwintyn can just make things difficult at times. We played with Play-Doh, and some how we got in to making boogers. Not sure how we got to boogers? Guess boys will be boys. Haha!

Lil' boogers!!

Day 81: Random Thoughts Of An Amazon Shopper

So I have been browsing on Amazon, and I can't decide what to buy. My cart is getting pricey!! I keep adding stuff to my cart, only to put it in the "save for later" section. Or my problem is having something in my cart & then it's no longer available. Or then something will pop up, and catch my interest and I think, I NEED THAT!! Or Hey, I can get that in bulk!! Shopping on Amazon can be dangerous. Now to decide what I really need......:/ So here are my rambling thoughts that have been racing through my mind. I really NEED to get this order in, I have stuff that I do really need to order. It's just the extras. Hahaha The one thing that I am worrying so much over is I do have a few things in my cart that would come from China. So I'm worried about the sizing, and quality. I have bought stuff  from China through a Co-Op and the items were alright, no complaints. Then add in looking for a new car seat for Kwintyn......oh, boy! Decisions, decisions.

Rambling thoughts of an Amazon Shopper.

Day 80: When You Smile..

Chelsea brought home her school photos yesterday. Picture day has never been easy for her, and I'm sure for the photographer as well. She has never smiled in any of her school photos before, except for this year. This was the first year that she smiled for school photos. She did smile for her Fall photos, and again for the Spring photos this year. I never buy school photos as I try to get the kids Fall photos myself, but I think I'm going to have to buy at least one photo since this never happens. I told Frank that she kinda reminds me of Wednesday Addams....well we always said that, minus the braids. But in the Addams Family Values Movie, the scene where Wednesday smiles....."Isn't she pretty?!" "She's scaring me!" Hahaha!!! I know, not nice. But it's a rarity. A side of Chelsea many don't ever get to see. The picture quality sucks since it's a picture of a picture, and has some spots from the flash.

Day 79: TGIF?!

Thank-God it's Friday. Oh wait, I'm a Mom. So very true. This is all I got for today. Our plans for the weekend fell through, and Frank isn't feeling so well. I was late at getting Kyle to work today, and late picking Kameron up today.......Thank God it's Friday!!

Day 78: Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow.

Chelsea, and I got our hair cut today. I don't know how much I got cut off, but Chelsea got 15 inches cut!!! We are donating her 15" pony tail to Pantene Beautiful Lengths so it can be used to make a wig. You need 8 inches of hair to donate it, so I think they shall be happy with Chelsea's donation. She got her hair cut first so I was holding her 15" pony tail & I put it up to my hair, and OH MY!!! My Daughter has BEAUTIFUL hair!! I knew she did, but to see how nice it would look on me, like a hair extension would....I'm jealous!! Her hair is so soft, and it's pretty much the same color as mine, but I always thought it looked darker. Guess her ends are a lot lighter, but I want her hair!! Hahaha! So pretty & long. She sure as hell don't get her hair genes from me, I have baby fine, thin hair, and it's getting thinner. :( Always said I hope my kids have better hair than me, and they all do. Chelsea & I went and did a little bit of shopping after we got our hair cut. She used the rest of her gift card from Christmas, and bought an EverAfter doll. Frank was nice & took the before pics of me, I took the pics of Chelsea, and he then took a pic of the both of us, after.

Day 77: Birthday's, Birthday's, Birthday's!!

March Madness for sure!! We know of a lot of people who have a birthday in March, and a lot of these people are pretty darn special. We start of with one of our BFF's, hers is the 1st. Then Kwintyn's Godfather's is the 7th, then March 12-18th is pretty busy!! I always thought this was neat. Two of my BFF's had their kid the same week that Keagan, Kyle, & Kameron were born. It goes like this, Jen has a son who was born on March 12, he just turned 13!! I was in the delivery room when he was born, and I am still honored she wanted me there. March 14th is Kameron's birthday, Keagan, & Kyle is March 16th, and Sam's son's birthday is March 18, and he turns 4 today!! 12, 14, 16, 18....all boys....and were the first born child, well except for Kyle & Kameron. Guess there's something about March. ;) My Grandfather & Aunt's birthday was on March 17th, and I have a few special online friends who have March birthdays as well. And another friend also shares a birthday with Keagan & Kyle.

I'm missing this sweet little boy today. I told Kwintyn it was his birthday, and he says "No"!! LOL I said yes, it is. He got quiet, and said, "What'd he have?" I said a Spongebob party. He says, "Oh". I said we can't go because he lives to far, remember? He sighs, "yeah." Kwintyn surely misses his best buddy. But we are sending him lots of birthday wishes, and lots of birthday kisses & hugs. We hope you had a great birthday, Seth! Can't believe you are 4 years old now!! I remember this photo shoot like it was yesterday.....You peed on you're Daddy!! Hahaha! I'll never forget that...and I have the picture to prove it, too!

Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday!!!

Day 76: Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

May your blessing out number the shamrocks you grow. And may trouble avoid you wherever you go. ~ Irish Blessing ~

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand. ~ Irish Blessing~

May your troubles be less, and your blessing be more. And nothing but happiness come through your door. ~ Irish Blessing~

May God grant you always.....A sunbeam to warm you, A moonbeam to charm you, A sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you, Laughter to always cheer you, Faithful friends near you. And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you. ~ Irish Blessing~

Happy St. Patty's Day!! Here's a few Irish quotes I like. :) I made corn beef, carrots, and potatoes...I forgot to add the cabbage!!! I didn't realize that until I was getting my plate ready, and was wondering where the cabbage was....DOH!!! Keagan says I'll just have to re-make it. LOL I have no left overs, that is how good it was....even without the cabbage. One of these St. Patty's day I will have to try some green beer. I have never tried before!!

Luck has nothing to do with it. We are blessed.

Day 75: The Day Keagan & Kyle Were Born

Today is Keagan & Kyle's 16th Birthday!! I'm writing about the day these 2, boys arrived in to the world, just as I did with Kameron, two days ago. Keagan & Kyle were are my pride & joy, not that my other children aren't, but I was so full of pride & joy to become their Mother. I was very young, and still in school, and teen pregnancy is just bad. To know that I let so many people down, it hurt. Nobody was happy for me and I knew why. But I was excited, and scared, I was very scared!! I knew I wanted them, well at that point I just thought there was one, but I wanted my baby. I found out I was having twins 3 days before I turned 18. Shock of my life!!!! After that things started to look up, and people started to get more excited, and they excepted our decision. By the time Keagan & Kyle arrived in to this world they were very much loved, & wanted. Never a day have I ever regretted my decision to have them, because they are, two of the best things that have ever happened in my life. Here is Keagan & Kyle's birth story, who arrived 5 weeks early! Their due date was April 19, 1999.

It was Tuesday, March 16th, 1999.  I was already in the hospital as I had arrived the evening before. It was a rough week for me, as I was in & out of the hospital. I was just in the hospital 48 hours prior to that. I woke up and it was about 4:30am and I was having some really bad contractions. My Mom woke up and went and got a nurse. She then checks me, and tells me that she is going to go wake Frank up. He was sleeping in another room, nurses were nice & gave him a bed. They then paged the Doctor, and he showed up shortly after. I really don't remember what went on in that time frame, but I think they were making sure the O.R. was open, and everyone to suit up, and for me to labor a bit longer. As it got closer, they had Frank, and my Mom go suit up, and they took me down to the O.R. I  just remember as I was being taken down to the O.R. I was SO, SO scared!! I had asked if I could have drugs, but I don't think anyone heard me. I can't recall the pain, I just recall how scared I was. I think fear had taken over pains place. I remember being in the O.R and there were so many people in there. My OB, my nurses, the anesthesiologist, the Pediatrician, and nurses for each of the boys, Frank, my Mom,  and a bunch of medical students. I remember having to sign a few consent forms while my legs where up in stirrups. Medical Students needed my permission to be in there, I said what the hell, as there were already a ton of people in the room. Boy, did I make those students day, to witness a birth, and twins at that! They were excited!!

I had pushed for 56 minutes, (so that gave me a time frame on when I was taken down to the O.R.) and then "Baby A," Keagan Andrew was born at 8:30 am, weighing 5pds 11.4oz, and was 18" long. I got a quick peek at him, and then he was whisked off to be checked out. I remember feeling much better after he was out, and then the Doctor telling me that he was going to do an ultra sound to see if "Baby B" was still head down. If he wasn't head down then it was C-section for me. I remember being SO tired after that, and saying, "Can we just do this tomorrow?" I did not scream out with their birth, it was unmedicated, and was pretty quiet. Was a really relaxed setting given the situation. Like I said before, I think I was more scared than in pain, and I just wanted it over with. I like to brag about their birth because, it was the only time I was so calm in a very painful situation. It really amazes me how incredible I did giving birth to them!! The ultra sound showed Kyle still head down, so thank goodness for that. As contractions started to pick back up I got the go ahead to start pushing again. I pushed for 18 minutes, and at 8:48am, Kyle James was born weighing 5pds 12.5oz, and was 18" long. They would have weighed the same, but I guess Keagan peed right after he was born. I got a quick peek of Kyle and then he was taken off to be checked out. Frank & my Mom then followed. I don't remember what time I had arrived back to my room, but all I wanted to do was hold, and see my babies!! It felt like hours had gone by, and I was given breakfast but I didn't want to eat it. All that was on my mind was my baby boys. I had not even held them yet, or had gotten a good look at them. The nurses were nice and snapped a Polaroid picture of them as they were getting looked over.

Then finally they were brought to my room and I got to hold them. I looked over their precious little faces to see any differences in them. I noticed right away they didn't look a like. Keagan was lighter haired, and Kyle had dark hair. Their faces were different, Keagan had more of an oval face, and Kyle had a rounder face. We thought Keagan looked like me, as he looked a lot like my newborn picture, and we thought Kyle looked like Frank as he looked a lot like Frank as a newborn. Kyle also had long  toes like his Dad, and Keagan's were shorter & a little fatter like mine. They were healthy baby boys and needed no assistance after birth which was a concern since they were 5 weeks early. Keagan's Apgar score was an 8/8, and Kyle's was an 8/9, so very good scores. We had the names Keagan Andrew & Kyle James picked out, although I debated the names Cameron & Riley James for boy names. If they were girls I had the name Kelsey Elizabeth & Melissa Nicole picked out. And if they were a boy & a girl, the name would have been Keagan Andrew & Kelsey Elizabeth. I was sold on Keagan & Kelsey, either way.

I remember feeling like a zoo animal on exhibit because of all of the visitors I had. Our friends & school mates were excited to see our baby boys. I also trying to breastfeed them for the first time, and that proved to be very overwhelming. I can remember trying to nurse Keagan, and he was latched on wrong, and when I pulled him off, it looked as if I had two nipples. I said I was done breastfeeding at that time. (I joke to Keagan that he is the reason why I didn't breast feed them...lol) They did have a little trouble with latching & sucking, so we had to try nipple shields & syringe feedings. They took to the bottle better, and so we just went with that. We went home just 2 days after they were born, and they were so tiny they wore preemie outfits home. Keagan wore a white outfit with a white hat, and Kyle wore a blue outfit with a hat. They had designated colors, Keagan had blue, and Kyle had green, I just didn't want their stuff getting mixed up, so the colors worked out well. I remember our first day home. Frank dropped me off at home, and then went to work and I unpacked. I remember my Mom stopping by with a robe, a breast pump, and nursing bras. I did try to nurse when I got home, and had a lactation consultant stop over. I remember my boobs, and how BIG they were, my milk had come in  and Hello, Dolly!! I couldn't see my feet they were that big! And they hurt so bad & were hard as a rock. Being a new Mom I was like WHOA!!!!!! Hahaha! I remember our first night home too, it didn't go so well. They boys' awoke to be fed, I woke Frank up, he gave me the boys, and then went to the kitchen to make bottles. The boys started to cry, and it was taking Frank quite some time to get the bottles made. The crying got louder, and I didn't want to get up with both boys in my arms, I was still cautious carrying them both at the same time. So I started screaming, "FRANK!!!" over and over again. It took a few good yells to get him to come back down to the bedroom. He finally gets there, and I ask what took so long? He said he fell asleep on the kitchen floor. LOL!!!! The crying didn't stop because we then had to wait for the bottles to cool down, as they were too hot!! I still laugh at Frank over that! They boys did have jaundice, but it wasn't to bad as they did phototherapy at home. They looked like little glow worms at night, the jaundice went away within a few days.

The boys were very good babies. I say that they are so calm, and pretty laid back kids due to their birth. Like I said in Kam's post, his birth was more angry, & loud compared to Keagan & Kyle's quiet, calm birth. I really think their personalities kinda reflect their birth. Just wait till you hear Chelsea & Kwintyn's. It will all make sense then. :) I'm glad that I had twins first because I don't think I could have handled it so well if they were a subsequent pregnancy. They were pretty easy until about the age of 18 months and then it became more of a struggle. 2 on the run getting in to EVERYTHING, and plotting things. Like using a brother as a step stool to get something that we are not suppose to have. One would get on all fours, and then the other would step on his back to get what they wanted. The stuff these 2 pulled, and the team work that went in to it. I'm glad we survived all these years, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Happy Birthday, Keagan & Kyle!! I can't believe that you are 16 years old today. I got all sentimental and cried today, and I'm sure this will happen every year now. It's just crazy to think that in just 2, short years I will have 2 adult son's. I am very proud of the young men that you two are becoming. All of you're teachers current & old have always remarked on how well behaved, kind, helpful, & smart you boys are, and have told Frank & I, how well of a job that we were doing raising them. It feels so good to hear that coming from Teachers, and it makes me feel proud because I was a Teen Mom, that a young Mom like me could do a good job raising children. Children of Teen Mom's have a higher rate of being convicts, or face teen pregnancy themselves, and there are other statistics that said other things as well. So damn right I am proud of my boys, they so far have beaten the odds of the Teen Mom stigma, and I am damn proud of the way that their Father & I have raised them. As I always said, my Pride & Joy.
(Not the best picture, stain on frame, not Kyle's face, and yes, I looked thrilled! LOL)

Happy 16th Birthday, Keagan & Kyle!!

Day 74: Happy Birthday, Boys!!

Today the boys had their birthday gathering. Just friends & food. No games, no balloons, no goodie bags, no decorations, no cake. But that's what they wanted. I did make cupcakes because you gotta have some sort of a dessert item at a gathering, and well since they didn't want a cake, I decided it was gonna be cupcakes. I made Smore's & Reese's cupcakes and they were good!!! Oh, Kyle did request pie, so I bought that......I have never made a fruit pie in my life. Had a spread out to make sub sandwiches, and I made my Mac n Cheese, and of course Doritos's, & tater chips. Kids played video games, or watched TV, or went on a walk. There have been a total on average of 9 kids here over the weekend, but 12 in all. They wanted to invite more friends but my house & patience is only so big. We did enjoy their friends, very nice kids, and a lot of fun! Frank gives the boys friends' new names. Stanly has stuck with one friend to the point of his own parents calling him Stanly every now & then. LOL!!! So a few more kids got new names. He does it for fun, and gets a feel for the kid before he does this. Just to point that out, he's really not that big of an ass. hahaha! I hope the kids had fun, and I hope their friends had fun & that we didn't scare them off to bad. And Kwintyn REALLY enjoyed the cupcake, he was to cute to not post.

Happy Birthday Boys!!

Day 73: The Day Kameron Was Born

Today is Kameron's 14th Birthday, and of course as a Mom we tend to reflect on the day that we first met our child. So today I'm going to tell you about the day Kameron was born, and how his birth went. I'll try to spare the gross details but can't promise so, as it's childbirth....it's either gross or beautiful. I tend to think it's beautiful, grossness and all. It's raw, and real. I think I'm going to do this on the other kids' birthday's as well. I really don't have much documented to their birth story or their arrival in to this world, and I have told it many times. So I'm doing this for me, and for my kids. Something to look back on, and to know what happened the day they were born. So here's Kameron's story....you might want to grab a drink, a snack, or something as this could get long, and I do babble.

It was Wednesday, March 14th, 2001, I was scheduled for an induction that morning. I was 37 weeks along, so he came 3 weeks early. No Doctor today would do an induction at 37 weeks, but on Monday, March 12 at my Dr's appt. the Dr. asked how I was doing, and I said I was miserable. My back & legs hurt all the time. I was in physical therapy for a part of my pregnancy with him & the boys, which was pool therapy. So he knew I had always had pains. He said to me, "What are doing Wednesday"? I said, nothing. He said, "How does Wednesday sound to have a baby"? I said, sounds great!! I was SO afraid of him arriving on his older brothers' birthday, I did NOT want them to share a birthday, but in the end they do anyways. I arrived at the hospital at 6:00am and they broke my water around 8:00am. I wasn't progressing as fast as they wanted me to, so they had me get up and walk. Then it was on to the birth ball. Dr. came back in, and checked me, and I wasn't progressing that much. So he had said if I made no more progression by 1:00pm, them pitocin would be given. So back to walking I went, and more bouncing on the birth ball. I remember the Dr. leaving his hat in the room, and Frank wanting me to put in on while I was on the birthing ball so he could get a picture. I'm sure you can just guess what type of response he got from me...hahaha!!

My contractions started to pick up, and boy were they bad!! I swear the Devil came out of me the day he was born. The words & profanity I was using. I really didn't use sentence enhancers back then so it was jaw dropping to quite a few. I remember my Mom & Sister leaving the room trying to hold their laughter back. I did try to remain calm when Frank's Grandma & Grandpa came up & I was in the middle of some hard labor. His Grandpa had never been in a delivery room before!! The pain was getting worse & so I kindly asked Frank if he could get his Grandparents to leave, I really didn't want them in their for the birth. LOL I remember screaming for drugs, and then I would get myself to a good place. But then came that damn, burning ring of fire, and I started screaming for drugs again. Well the nurse pulls a needle & syringe out of her pocket & then stabs me in the arm with it. I screamed, THAT HURT WORSE THAN THE DAMN CONTRACTION!! I was 9cm dilated so at that point it really didn't do anything for me. Maybe calm me down?! I got the go ahead to start pushing, I don't know how long I pushed, but I know I pushed hard. I broke blood vessels in my face. I can remember thinking He's out!! I was so relieved. Kameron arrived in to the world at 5:30pm, and he weighed 7pds 13oz, and was 20.5" long. Frank cut the umbilical cord and was totally grossed out afterwards. So I'm happy he was born 3 weeks early. I asked if he was a boy, I knew he was, and I then started to cry. They put you on my belly and you peed on me right after you were born!! You're toes were long, and you had this little patch of hair that would stick up on the back of you're head. You were such a beautiful newborn baby!! We had considered the name, Riley Jacob, but Kameron Micheal fitted you much better. We left the hospital when you were 26 hours old, so we got home around 7:30-8:00pm, we had to wait till you were 24 hours old, you wore a cream outfit that had bears on it. You're brothers were interested in you and kept saying, "Baby." They really didn't show much of an interest when they came to visit you in the hospital, but they loved you the day you came home. Don't let them tell you otherwise, either. You can imagine what our first days at home were like, 3 under, 3!! Although we did know more about parenting this time around, so the whole "newborn" thing wasn't new to us. You were a pretty good baby but once you got upset, you were upset!! You are pretty stubborn too, and tend to get angry quite a bit. I blame your birth for that, it wasn't a calm, peaceful birth and hence why you are so  edgy. It's kinda weird but all the kids do kinda have traits in as to how they were born, I'll say what those are in future posts, but for Kam, it was an angry, loud, birth. LOL But he does have a sweet side at times.

I just can't believe that Kameron is 14 years old today. Today he stands taller than me, and he weighs a little bit more than me. Happy Birthday, Kameron, you have been a blessing & we are so proud of you. You are such a smart boy....who shares a birthday with Einstein. Coincidence?! I think not.

Happy Birthday Kameron!!

Day 72: It Will Be Fun They Said.

Get DirectTv they said...it will be fun they said....Well ever since we switched from cable to dish we have had problems with our T.V. The guy who came to set it up told me some mumbo jumbo about how we might have to re-wire the T.V or something. I told him to talk to Frank as I have not a clue what you are saying. So Frank called & I thought things were straight. Then we started having problems with our HD outputs, and we could not get a signal. Switched the HD outputs and it worked again. Started doing the same thing, again, and again. There were 2, days I went without the T.V., not that I was complaining but it was still a pain in the bum! We called our provider & they have always been wonderful with us, and return our calls. But they kept saying it might be our T.V. How?! We never ran HD before, and the T.V. isn't that old. We bought it the year we got married, so 6 almost 7 years ago. The T.V. downstairs, that is older worked just fine with the HD!! They told us to switch the  receivers & if it was giving us the same problem on the T.V. downstairs then it was most likely the receiver, if the receiver worked downstairs & not upstairs, then it was most likely our T.V. Bet you can guess what the problem was?! LOL Yep, it was the T.V. which works just fine, but not in HD. Soooo we bought a new T.V. Frank & Kwintyn were SUPER excited about it. Kwintyn was super excited because you can have Talking Tom on the T.V. We got a good deal on it, the 55" was the same price as the 58" so of course we went with the 58". We were looking at the 50" the other day but that one had sold with in a few days. It's much bigger than our 42" and I thought that was so bug when we bought it. To think you could go bigger, too! The price on T.V's have come down by A LOT!! This 58" was cheaper than our 42"!!! The 42" will now reside in our bedroom, I'm kinda excited about that...to lounge in bed & watch T.V. and not having to watch cartoons will be wonderful!!! Hope this Smart TV is as smart as they say it is. It says it gets smarter the more you use it.

New TV!!!!!

Day 71: Hair Cuts

All the guys got their hair cut today. Everyone was excited to have their hair cut, and even happier to know that we were going to our good friend who has pretty much cut our hair. There have been a few times when we had to go elsewhere and we ended up not liking our hair cuts, so we try to stick with her. Plus she can deal with all our craziness, and she's close to home. Chelsea was going to get her hair cut to but something crawled up her bum, and she changed her mind, and was moody from then on. While there Chelsea had brought a snack & would not share with Kwin, so they got in a little tiff about that. So I picked Kwin up to talk to him, and his nose started bleeding. UGH!!! He was crying & upset so it didn't make things any better. I was starting to stress. LOL See why I said she can deal with our crazy?! Hahaha So I am scheduled for next week, and hopefully Chelsea will want her hair cut then, too. She wanted it cut short, like up to her ears. LOL Dad said no!! Haha!! I think she wants a bob style cut? It would make her hair more manageable, it's hell to comb her hair!! Frank got his cut  too, but I didn't get any photos of him.

Handsome boys!!

Day 70: Easter Candy

While shopping today I decided to pick up some Easter stuff early, I'm usually doing Easter shopping at last minute so I'm off to a good start.....Yay!! I hate holidays because of all the candy. I saw the Cadbury Mini Eggs, and had to buy them. Those damn eggs get me every freaking year!! I have already consumed many Easter candy and it's not even Easter yet. I have had the Reese's White Chocolate Eggs, Twix Eggs, Russell Stover Eggs, and now the Cadburys. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to buy the candy early? It's gonna be hard not to break in to it. Gonna have to find a good hiding spot too, I think I know of a good spot. One that nobody will think of either. :)

Oh happy day when you have chocolate!

Day 69: You Are Approved!!

We got approved for our car loan, and so now the search really begins for buying a new car. We have already been on the hunt already, but we didn't want to count our chickens before they hatched. But now we at least know how many chickens will fit in the basket now. :) I am really set on a Lincoln, I think Kwintyn has rubbed off on me. I must admit they are pretty classy...it's just finding one in our price range. For why we want is pricey here in Michigan, I have looked out of state and they are much cheaper.....Hmmmm. We have thought about traveling to go get a new car, but it's all to scary to me. Buy a car out of state and only know so much about it, and it's coming from someone who wants to sell it. Hard to find honesty nowadays, everyone is out just to make a dollar now. But I am really excited, and this was just the news we needed to hear. And yes, another busy day as you can tell by  the crappy quality & choice of today's photo.

You are approved!

Day 68: I Am As Radiant As The Sun

What a B-E-A-U-ti-ful day it was today!! Is suppose to be in the 40's this week!! Woot, woot!! Like a heat wave for us folks who have had dealt with bitter cold temp's. I think I seen it for the high 40's too!! Heck, it's just nice vein at 20 degrees in the morning now. Can't wait for Spring!!!! I actually took a picture outside today. The sun was shining through these lights on the tree, and made them look so radiant, and looked as if they were on. I thought it looked very pretty.

Day 67: A Woman Who Doesn't Wear Perfume Has No Future

I just love perfume, always have & always will. I'm grateful I can wear perfume & not have a sensitivity to it. I have always wore perfume since I can remember, and I love many scents. But I think my favorite is Victoria's Secret, Very Sexy. Love that stuff, and I have gotten many comments about it. Over the years I have gotten, "You smell good!" Thanks, glad I don't stink! But I get what most people are saying because I'm the same way. I'll say, You smell lovely, what are you wearing? My Niece got me some shower gel & lotion for Christmas, and the smell....I forget what it's called, but smells wonderful!! It's from Bath & Body works, and I have just a little bit of shower gel left. I hope they have this scent! I LOVE their Winter Candy Apple, and I am out of that too, and can't get that till next year.....Note to self...buy more than you did this year! Which reminds me I need to buy more stuff from The Body Shop, Frank needs more hemp lotion, and we need more shave cream. I have always been a girl of products. I say you can never have enough lotion, perfume, make-up, hair stuff. Although I suck in the hair & make-up area, I love it, but can't do certain things like other woman can to their hair & make-up. I can remember when I was younger I did my Mom's hair & make up all the time just for fun. She would walk away looking like a Hooker most of the time. LOL Way to much make-up! What a sport Mom was! Hahaha

Perfume is the most intense form of a memory.

Day 66: Dinner's Of The Week

I hate meal planning. I never know what to make, and we have a few picky eaters so it's hard to please everyone. Although I don't aim to please, I aim to feed. Plus having to feed 5 kids can be a challenge, let alone pricey. Sometimes I think our dinner's aren't that terrific, and it makes me curious as to what other people consume for dinner. I don't think that we eat super healthy, but we don't eat really bad, either. Here is our meal plan for this next week. I have a new recipe, a fairly new one, a lazy one, and the rest are old/classic. Why post a picture of my meals? LOL!! Cause I needed a photo......DUH!!!! Lame, I know!! But I was busy grocery shopping, and cleaning today. 3, different stores to shop for 2 and a half weeks worth of food. I wish we had a Sam's Club, a Costco....something!!! I need to buy bulk!!

Dinner Choices...take it or leave it!

Day 65: Cleaning, Cleaning, & More Cleaning.

Been really slack a lacking lately so the house got to be a bit of a mess. And of course I have to get it "company" ready. Nobody in this house can clean like I can clean. I take my time, and get in all the nooks & crannies, and wipe everything down, organize, sort, ect, ect. Everyone else just picks up, and throws it wherever. Sure it's clean, but........LOL I think everything should have it's place. I can't wait for Spring to get here because I am purging this house!! I think it always looks messy but it's not, it's just clutter that makes it look messy. Now I have never really been this big of a clean freak until I had kids. When I was a kid, my room was a MESS!!! I was always told that pigs lived better than I did...hahaha!! And now it's that karma that you're parents throw your way. My kids are not tidy AT ALL!! Can you guess what I tell my kids?! LOL!!! Payback is a bitch, and I have it X5!! I cleaned the basement & it looks marvelous!! Just have to get the laundry area cleaned up, and then it's upstairs cleaning. The boys' are having birthday's next week, and they are just having some friends over to hang out. They are now at the age where they don't want to have a birthday party, so I suggested having their friends to come over to eat & hang out. They want sub & blt sandwiches, and my homemade mac n cheese. I'm going to make cupcakes whether they like it or not, Kyle wants pie so I'm sure I will have that too. I asked if we could do Pin The Tail On The Donkey, that was shot down. I asked about a piñata, that was shot down. Hahaha!! I really did think the piñata would be fun.

I made this sign. I don't have high hopes, heck I don't even think they will see it if I did print it out! I shall have them all over my house as a reminder. :D And yes, I know that a clean house isn't important. Always will be a mess, but babies never stay little. I get that. But having a clean house is important to me. I say that because everything I say usually gets taken the wrong way, or seen the wrong way. I don't care if your house is a mess, I won't judge. Not my circus, not my monkeys. But I feel that YOU judge MY house when it's not in tip top shape. That is all.

P.S. I DO appreciate the help my family does give me when cleaning. Even if I hate the way Frank folds the towels, or pants.....I still appreciate that very much.

Day 64: To The Border....

Kyle was nice and bought me dinner tonight. Mostly because he wanted Taco Bell, and said he would buy.....he just needed a ride. He was extra nice and got Kwintyn & Chelsea some cinnamon twists, everyone else had already had dinner. Kyle is liking his job at Taco Bell so far, and he has met some new friends as well. One of his friends now works there, too! I just found out that Culver's hires at 14, and so I was telling Kameron about that. Keagan is still holding out for Tim Horton's, you have to be 16, to work there and he will be 16 very soon. But he also wants to try out for baseball, so I think he might have to hold out a little longer, and wait till Summer....if he makes the baseball team. Crazy to think that all my big boys could have a job this Summer! It'll be a busy one for sure!

Taco Bell!!

Day 63: Coffee. A Hug In A Cup

Middle of the week and I am feeling tired.... I thought today was Thursday. I did stay up late last night so it's no wonder why I'm slacking today. Thank Goodness there is coffee!! Today I felt like playing around and made a few digital art images. This one will match my kitchen. Some may think the yellow is putrid, but I love that golden yellow color! Reminds me of Fall colors, and that is my favorite time of the year. You should see my kitchen in the fall, when the sun hits just right. It's SO bright because of that putrid yellow color, and it lets off this awesome glow. I need to get some photos printed up, and put up on my wall as they are really in need of some art work, or something. Almost all of my frames have fallen off the wall, and have broke...nobody ever is sure why they fall off. But we are in need of some decorating, my walls are bare, and are of in need of a fresh coat of paint.....AGAIN! But for now I'll just scrub.

Coffee!!!!!!!

Day 62: HATS!!

This kid has always had a thing for hats. First it was the newsboy hats, he started wearing those at 4 months old. Then in 2013 he got a sock monkey hat for his Birthday, and he loved that and wore it for the rest of Winter. He got another sock monkey hat this year, that was handmade just for him. He has wore that a few times, but he then got obsessed with his "wild" hat...which is a blue sun hat. He said he went on adventures with that, like the Wild Kratts do. LOL Now he is obsessed with this Detroit Tigers hat. I was cleaning out the closet, and I was going to get rid of it since I never wore it. Kwintyn seemed interested in it, so I gave it to him, and he has wore it everyday since!! Ok, well there was an exception of a few days when he got a new hat. Frank paid our propane bill, and he had asked how much a hat was. Well they ended up giving Frank a hat, sticky notes, a pen, and a magnet clippy just because they knew how much Kwin loved propane & people tanks. Haha! How awesome though!! He was SO excited when Frank came home with all of that, so he wore his "gas" hat for a few days. It's a little big on him, so he put the Tigers hat back on, fits him better. I love that he will wear hats, the other boys were never really in to hats. I have a feeling this boy will love accessories, too! Like sunglasses, & boots....which he has a love for already. Haha My little fashionista!

The many faces of Kwintyn.....in a hat!

Day 61:Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!!

I just LOVE Dr. Seuss!! His mind was brilliant!! We don't own all of Dr. Seuss' books, but we do have quite a few. I would love to have his whole collection of books, as every one of them is a classic. I always try to honor the Good Ol' Dr. on his Birthday, and do something Seuss related. So in honor of Dr. Seuss I did my photo of the day about one of his many books, The Cat In The Hat Came Back. The book has a few stains & rips so it's been read quite a few times....must be a good book. :)

You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back & relax, all you need is a book. ~Dr. Seuss~

Day 60: Daddy's Open Faced Hamburgers

I came across this recipe on Pinterest, and it looked good. But it was the name that had me sold. :D Daddy's Open Faced Hamburgers. Apparently they are said to be the juiciest!! Wanted to try them yesterday but we only had a few kids home, and I didn't want to waste, so we had them today. I followed the recipe exactly, and well......my smoke detector went off...quite a few times. It didn't turn out very well. The buns got burned, and the burger wasn't cooked, & was dripping bloody juices...Yum!! So I put it back in the oven, only to have the smoke detector go off again...and again. So by the time I pulled them out, the buns were burnt to a crisp. I didn't have high hopes for Daddy's open faced burgers, buuuut, they were pretty damn good, even with the burnt buns!!! I ate the whole thing!! Boy was it messy though, and it was pretty juicy!! I think a side of Mommy's Spiced Sausage would have gone great with this recipe!! Hahahaha.....If you know me & my mind.....you know where it went while making this recipe. My husband didn't help with his remarks either....I almost choked eating these burgers because he had me laughing so hard. And what else didn't help was Keagan asking what was so funny. Yes, the poor sense of humor we have....Oh, the shame!!!

Daddy's Open Faced Burgers.....So juicy!!
